The Rhubarb Appreciation Thread

Post by Matisfaction »

As many of you may be aware, the mighty Rhubarb over the years has helped to shape our everyday lives. Not only the nutritional benefits (including Crumbles, Pies, Sandwiches, ice cream, raw, or even the popular Rhu-Bass Shandy drink), but also the cultural benefits (such as the world famous "Rhu-Bamba" dance, the famous video game "The Legend a of the Shadow of The Rhu-Barbarian", and also the annual World Rhubarb Rubbing Championships).

So it should be fitting to pay tribute (in thread form) to the "Mighty Barb", a place where avid Rhubarb activists can express their "vibrant enthusiam", and extend public rhu-lations without fear or reprisal.

Welcome all, and remember "Never Rhu the Barb" and "Wherever you go, the Barb will flow".

I have never eaten rhubarb before.

I wonder if the lady from Mork & Mindy had a son called Link?

You need to embrace the magistary of the Rhu in its many forms, especially the Pie, but make sure it's a clean pie. Once a pie is dirty, "its too late to wash your pies". There's even a song written about it (they had to alter the lyrics from the original for more commercial reasons, pie washing was in its infancy back in those days but the message can still be heard)

If only Link had Rhubarb in his diet, instead of relying on fairies and an old sword he could have taken out Gannon easily with his "Vibrant Enthusiasm".
