Went to BETA BAR on Friday night.

It's crap. There's an entry fee, too many people, too much noise, not enough games and not enough seats.
It's a shame too. I went to Mana Bar a few times before it closed and it was all about the games.
About the only thing they got right is the drink prices. $20 for a jug of cider or beer is pretty good compared to mana bar's prices.
$10 for a shot and $15 for a cocktail.

if you don't feel like waiting 45 minutes to play a game, you can play cards against humanity... If I wanted to play a table top game I'd go to games workshop and play warhammer and D&D all night.
I'd have had a better night inviting 3 people over and getting them to each bring a bottle or slab of their preferred drinks and playing 360..


I should totally make a bar, I'd make a fucking awesome gaming bar.

Some old arcade machine the screen was too dark to see.
And that's about it..
And a projector with fucked colours displaying the Simpsons and samurai pizza cats with no sound!

In theory it's a perfect game for a bar and friends, I played a bunch last time in Sydney where we all gor trashed and played on the couch... but one console with a projector and 100 people around waiting to play.. MEH
It's an awesome game.. Stupid, but great drunk fun.. like broforce or woah dave!

It's called duck game.. it's a 2D shooting game.. think worms meets donkey kong meets smash brothers.

GREAT party game.. Up there with trials, castle crashers and bomberman.
