I wish he was on the 49ers when Sherman joined. That would be a good Hard Knocks season.

That insolent child should know better than to attack football royalty :olol:

But honestly, is Baker Mayfield overrated? Probably, but only because of the hulking media construct that hangs over the NFL and takes up all the air. Hot takes and talking heads are getting so old.

Rex will get revenge by sucking Mayfield's wife's toes.

That's not anything new :olol: :(

He almost killed Xavier Rhodes a few years ago in Minnesota. The guy is powerful, but heaven help anyone on the field when he decides to launch himself like Raiden from Mortal Kombat.

My saltiness is peaked with a nice savory INT from Rodgers to close out the game.

I don't understand why AC/DC is never picked. The NFL only plays their music 8 million times a season.

Take a look at the list of Super Bowl halftime shows to find all the ridiculous ideas they've had. In 1995, they had "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye" with Patti Labelle, Teddy Pendergrass, Tony Bennett, Arturo Sandoval and the Miami Sound Machine. :olol: How about Shania Twain, No Doubt and Sting in 2003?

Weird stage shows were the craze, like this abomination in Minnesota:

It's all about pandering to the most demographics for the most eyeballs. The infamous Janet Jackson halftime show also featured Jessica Simpson, P. Diddy, Nelly and Kid Rock for an early aughts dream team.

They've had the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and The Who all perform in the past 15 years. Not the best arena rock lineup, but nobody remembers those shows because they were boring. People remember Prince because he put on a great show, Lady Gaga was fun too. AC/DC would stand in the middle of the stage and limp through You Shook Me All Night Long.

Hey now, I saw them with Axl Rose singing and they were still great.

Angus is in his 70s but he's still doing all of his trademarks. And they sounded great with Axl, who enjoyed himself more than the GNR show.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go with either Elton or Queen as the half time entertainment for next year because of the success of their biopics.

AC/DC would be good I think, you need a singer/group who can bring a lot of energy to the audience (especially if the game itself is boring) to lift the crowd and they certainly would. There really isn't a talent the level of Prince or MJ now who could really put on a great show. Theres no mega superstar level talents anymore at their level which is a huge shame. Which is why their performances were so iconic.

I really wish I could make fun of the Cowboys game. But not after the Ravens were raped by the Browns like that.

I think he will be back. Remember when Ndamukong Suh was public enemy #1 for going crazy on a Thanksgiving game and people wanted him thrown out? He's still playing.

It's not like he refused to stand up for the national anthem or anything.

:olol: Very true

For me, he'll always be the architect of this marvelous meltdown:
