It's a balmy -16°C right now in South Dakota, with -28°C wind chills

Sounds perfect!
The English language had deteriorated into a hybrid of hillbilly, valleygirl, inner-city slang and various grunts. Joe was able to understand them, but when he spoke in an ordinary voice he sounded pompous and faggy to them.

Let's just agree that it'd be great if it was partly cloudy and 22-28°C right now :olol:

The lowest temps on that map are about -55°C or somewhere near the lowest (non-wind chill) averages seen in Antarctica

It’s not getting that cold here, but it’s pretty close. My favorite part is that the day before that, it’s suppossd to be in the 40’s (5c). Next day -14 (-25c) with wind chill of -35 (-37c).

Then I guess I'd be a pussy if I complain Wednesday on our windchill only being -6. That's practically tropical weather compared to the midwest.

It's all relative :) It's usually this cold up here for about a week or so a year, so at least I'm prepared when it does dips this low. :olol:

Amazing thunderstorm tonight.

My house was surrounded by lightning for about 10 minutes. I seriously could look in any direction and would see flashes right before my eyes within 5 seconds. Never been surrounded like that before, was like a strobe light.

But on the plus side it's too cold to murder anyone in Chicago.
