I don't know if it would work.
1) Tommy Ford is dead. But maybe they can put Stan in his place as the third man.
2) Campbell accused Lawrence of groping her in 1996 (which was why she did the scenes where she was always on the phone with him so she wouldn't have to be in the same room with him and it killed the show.) So this will be awkward in this climate of sexual harassment.
3) Lawrence doesn't have the manic energy that made the character funny anymore. He went on medication for his bipolar disorder and hasn't been the same kind of comedic actor.
