This week on the Jim Cornette Experience, topics include Will Ospreay vs. Matt Riddle, ageism and wrestling announcers, how Jim’s big angle with Bill Watts in 1984 came together, and more.

The Bolin Alley S10E9 featuring cameo by Jim Cornette

After Kenny's numerous surgeries in the past few weeks, Kenny came on to update everyone on how he has been doing and to do a shorter Bolin Alley than usual due to discomfort....

All until The Bolin Alley was HIJACKED by a phone call from Jim Cornette!

He's been that way since he left ROH. Then he turned into "Kevin Steen is the laziest man in wrestling", "Colt Cabana doesn't respect the business", "Lucha Underground is why nobody takes wrestling seriously", "Nobody sells in New Japan", etc.

His shtick is still entertaining, most of the time. Brian has made his podcasts better.

In other JC news...

-- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there has been a lot of talk about Jim Cornette inducting The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express into the WWE Hall of Fame this year during WrestleMania 33 weekend.

Jim Cornette appearing at a WWE event would come as a surprise to many but he’s not likely to turn down the chance to help honor Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton.

The Wrestling Observer reached out to WWE and Cornette but neither would confirm or deny the story.

Yeah, I don't hate Corny, he's still got some good lines. But he's veering into "Old Man Yells At Cloud" territory on pretty much anything millennial wrestling fans like. I'd rather he just be a historian since few people know more about wrestling history than just shitting on stuff younger people like. He should realize guys his age hated Ric Flair in the 80s the same way he hates the Young Bucks today.

That should be cool and a bit weird. They just need Russo and Dunn to do run-ins to make it even better.

Cornette's RnR HOF speech was good. Uncontroversial, but good.

NIce that Kenny got a mention on WWE TV in 2017.
