Uh oh, he's got heat with Scott Steiner. R.I.P. Conrad.

Although maybe when Scott is about to strangle him he can pitch him a podcast. And it will be the greatest podcast of all time because it will be 2 hours a week of Steiner burying everybody he's ever known but Rick, Sting and Kurt Angle.

Conrad is now regretting only hiring two small non-wrestlers and a guy who has had 3 heart attacks in 10 years. He should have made a Sid podcast just for protection.

The fight will go a little like this...

Conrad: "Where's my fucking poster*, ham cubes?"

Scotty: "Where's my $10 t-shirt money, fat ass?"

Conrad: "Boys, take this bitch out!"

Out comes Ric Flair, David Flair and karate champ Eric Bischoff.

5 minutes later Ric Flair, David Flair and karate champ Eric Bischoff are added to the Wrestler Death Thread.

*It might have been a jacket, I can't remember.

I'm glad they quickly covered up the Brother Love episode. It's pointless when all of the big moments were talked about on other shows.

Bix and Conrad have been fighting about it on Twitter.

Re: Bix & Conrad

Conrad's feeling was if people were asking for a Bruce & Russo face off at STWW Live a while ago, he didn't think it would be a problem to bring him to this. But Bix is on a crusade against Russo he wasn't aware of. But I think they're over it. Conrad is more concerned about Big Poppa Pump right now.

I remember hearing on the KC guest booker thing that Jarrett did, Vince was still paying Jarrett after he left. He was also being paid by Bischoff to act as a consultant.

So basically Jerry Jarrett was being paid by WWF & WCW at the same time? ...and he didn't even have to leave the house :oshocked:

If that story is true (and I don't know because there's 5 year gap between where it's documented Vince was paying him in case he went to jail and where it's documented WCW was paying him when Vince Russo came in). But if it is, he's the undisputed greatest worker of all time.

Although on his side is that it's true that Vince McMahon always really liked him and he's probably the only rival he did personally like besides maybe Inoki. So Vince may have given him a pass in 1999 because he liked him.

And the Bruce/Jerry theory is Bruce hates him because he always thought he was the teacher's pet, but then Jerry came in and was the teacher's pet.

He must of left WWF in late 95/96? And Vince was still paying him up to the rest of 96?

He talked about being a consultant for WcW when they were turning Hogan heel, think Jarrett said he had to talk to Hogan as Bischoff wouldn't for some reason ..?

I should probably email Cornette about it :olol:

They talked about the Jerry / Bruce thing on the Star Wars Edition of the 605. TGBL and Scott Bowden, pretty interesting...

Russo said he was the one who made him the paid consultant when he came in since he was friends with him at the time due to being friends with Jeff.

The story I heard from someone (may have been Cornette) was Vince just paid him a year (summer 1994 during the trial through 1995.) And he'd sold his USWA share to Lawler in 1995, so he wouldn't have been paid for using USWA as their developmental system if they were doing that.

I'd have to look at Observer back issues.

The July issue about Jeff and Road Dogg quitting WWF says Jerry was a WCW consultant. So maybe his final couple of WWF paychecks coincided with the WCW ones in the summer of 1995.

Just listened to a bit of it and Jarrett claims that he's been in contact with WcW a fair few times. Talked a bit about the Time Warner thing before hand and how it would never have worked...

He states that he just finished up with WWF (Vince was still paying him) and it was Bischoff who called and offered the consultantancy thing, all he did was send Jarrett tapes and ask him to critique it over the phone.
