Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
In happy news, Smackdown's main event is Daniel Bryan vs Jeff Hardy. That should be great.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Vince surely could call off the XFL 2.0 and just retire & enjoy his money now. Great way to go out on a high than wasting millions on a venture which doesn't have much chance of success. Should have partnered up with Dick Ebersols son and branded that as the XFL. Then with that name attached he could probably get investors.

They're paying a billion for this.

Stephanie and HHH did the deals, so it really looks like Vince is on his way out.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Talk is NBCUniversal are reportedly paying $1.35Billion over 5 years for Raw. Is wrestling in a new boom period or is one on the horizon?. Or are they just getting lucky with these billion $ deals. Nothing suggests to me ratings wise for networks to want to stump up a billion+ for pro wrestling.

She's a master of disguise!
She looks better like that. It makes her look younger.

This going to be at WWE headquarters right? Which employee isn't going to realise it's Steph ? But this has the potential to be hilarious. Would be funnier if it was Vince though. Plus don't Cactus son Dewey work for WWE, surely he'd spot her from a mile away.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Yeah, the show is the boss works at their own company. But they're usually corporate CEO's nobody knows what they look like because they don't work in the same building whereas Stephanie is in Titan Tower Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Every show has one employee telling them they suck at doing a basic task (like a chain restaurant CEO would be a bad waiter or dish washer), they find an assistant manager that's an asshole violating the rules, and then there's one single mom struggling to make ends meet or a guy with a sick kid/spouse/parent who needs financial help. So the show ends with the big reveal and the boss chews out the asshole manager and gives money or a promotion to the employee with problems. It's the same show every week.
But yes, I'd absolutely watch Vince on it.

I can imagine a divide and conquer scenario where Cena, Brock and the higher paid talent look out for themselves and the lower card talent get blackballed for trying to unionise.

Re: WWE Thread (Spoilers)
Boxers have wanted to unionize since the early 1900s, and their conditions are way worse than wrestlers. You cannot easily unionize individual sports, tennis and golf aren't unionized either. Really wrestlers getting into Screen Actors Guild as a group is their only hope.
