Recap from Talk is Jericho, credit to the Redditer who wrote this up

There was a company wide face scan (Jericho mentions these are for possible use in videogames & actions figures).
Chris Nowinski did a seminar for the workers regarding concussions. Tony Khan obviously organized the whole thing.
Dean Malenko was the producer for the main event. Jericho ASKED for the ref to Aubrey Edwards. She's Chris' favourite referee.
Says that some ideas that him & Hangman had didn't work out as planned.
Catering is provided by Cracker Barrel.
The AEW women roster was picked by Kenny & Brandi.
Private Party approached Jericho asking if it they could do a spinning elbow/Judas Effect type move. Jericho asked them to not doing it for awhile.
Jericho loves Private Party and the Jurassic Express. Says he didn't "get" Marko at the beginning, but he has come around.
Thinks this was the best AEW "Buy In" so far.
Says SCU are very valuable. Can work the opener, the mid of the show and the main event.
Luchasaurus/Jungleboy shirt on PWTees is outselling everyone in the last week.
Doesn't like hardcore for the sake of hardcore. Says he won't do any of that stuff. Doesn't think that it's wrestling, but still gives props to Darby, Havoc & Janela.
Mox sent him pics of his injury. Says it's gross.
Omega vs PAC went to long and had to cut stuff in their match. Both were unhappy about it. Jericho didn't watch it, but heard the reactions of the crowd backstage. Calls it the best match of the show.
Jericho loves Orange Cassidy. Looking forward to see more of him. Gives kudos to Chuck Taylor for getting in better shape.
Still trying to figure out The Dark Order (we all are, Chris). Thinks TV will help them.
Thinks they've done a great job building Shawn Spears as a star.
Thinks Cody is on path to become the top babyface in the company.
Says in a Jeri-Show vs DX tag match he took a similar head/table bump to Nick Jackson's. Says he should of probably had died in that spot.
Compares the AEW title match being the Main Event & Bucks/Lucha Bros being semi to Hogan vs Rock being semi to HHH vs Jericho. Says the title should always go last.
The Hangman vs Jericho match started slow on purposed.
Loved the SSP into Codebreaker spot. Had a lot of fun in the match.
Shot some backstage stuff with Ortiz & Santana
AEW takes care of booking the hotels. Everyone stays in the same one and it's a big party before and after the shows.

That's Sammy Guevara's gimmick.

You people in Europe do not understand how good AEW has it if Cracker Barrel is doing the catering. That is some stupid good food.

Yes. I'm surprised they didn't eat so much they couldn't wrestle. Give me that fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and some apple dumplings and ice cream for dessert and I sure couldn't do highspots.

He needed to launch an investigation into finding some sunscreen. He's as red as Brother Love.

It's hilarious that Jericho just came up with a catch phrase that's over off the top of his head during an unscripted promo and 72 WWE writers haven't had a catchphrase get over in who knows how long.

finally got round to watching the ppv last night & it was rather fun, the Jimmy Havoc/Darby Allin/Joey Janela was a definate highlight but the rest also help my attention (a hell of a lot more than vinces lot tend to) the main event was a good one to watch & I guess LAX have arrived (under new names) now following the tag title match, could be interesting to see them attacking the Lucha Bros there then being on friendly terms at Impact (or do I mean fainly amusing?)

Yea that's true. When you got them coming up with Sufferin' Succotash Son! that says it all :olol: I also see why AEW went with Chris as champion now since this meme has blown up huge and I think once they hit TNT you've got Orange Cassidy who I see being a big fan favorite, Luchasarus and Jungle Boy etc those types of character I think will appeal to the younger audience. Not sure if I've mentioned it but apparently they did a roster wide face scan, which was either for action figures and/or a videogame.

And their two biggest catchphrases of the past 5 years wrestlers came up with on their own. Daniel Bryan pitched doing the Yes chant after seeing Diego Sanchez do it in his UFC entrances.

And Becky called herself The Man on twitter and WWE decided to go with it.

Someone clear this up for me....

At last year's All In, was Jericho actually wrestling AS Pentagon Jr, or was it Penta for the match and then they just switched things around somehow?

He switched when they turned the lights out. Penta brought a second set of gear for him.

AEW tickets for Charlotte on 11/6 and the PPV in Baltimore on 11/9 went on sale this morning. Baltimore is well ahead of the pace of WWE's show Monday there, but is not close to being sold out, and it looks to be a pretty loaded lineup. We're at reality levels now, just like WWE doesn't sell anything out immediately, doesn't look like AEW will either except for special circumstances, unless TV creates a new buzz, and that goes for both companies. Charlotte is behind the pace of WWE's show on 9/15 in the same city

Dave Meltzer spoke in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about updated numbers from All Elite Wrestling’s All Out PPV. He states that numbers in the US and internationally were both down on PPV, except the UK, which specifically went up. The company is blaming this drop on the loss of Jon Moxley’s match with Kenny Omega, which was seen as one of the big draws for the event.

Dave also noted that the B/R Live figures came in even with Double or Nothing rather than above them as he previously estimated.

B/R Live looks to end up even with DON, not up as early numbers looked, so that’s around 37,000. FITE, which handled the streaming internationally, ended up being up due to the U.K. Outside the U.K. it was down, but we’re told the final number is looking less than 20,000. ITV Box Office, which is U.K. television, was also up, so that’s over 15,000.

Finally, Dave noted that about half of All Out’s buyers on PPV also purchased Double or Nothing, meaning that word is still getting out about the new promotion to the full audience.
