The NCAA wrestling championships started today in Cleveland. The morning show drew 18,660 fans and the secondary market for the finals is through the roof, killing everything in WWE and New Japan including WrestleMania.

I'm sure UFC has a lot to do with that since so many wrestlers there will go into MMA after they graduate.

That's a huge attendance for NCAA wrestling. Maybe they are showing their support for amateur wrestling after it was reinstated back into the Olympics. It's weirdly ironic amateur wrestling has outdrew pro-wrestling.

I thought Bix was cool with Dave and Bryan. Surprised they never gave him a free sub? Seriously, he took over the F4W when Bryan outsourced everything to other people. The old ones are a fun read but now I haven't read it for a long time. Didnt Dave fall out with some other WO associate recently too?. Seems they cover wrestling so much they are working an angle. Dave vs Bix at WrassleMania. Observer rights on a pole match and the winner gets Super Chico for 30 days.

Dave and Bix never got along. Bix is very critical of Dave and used to post rants about what he did wrong,on their message board. Dave finally told him off, alluding that he thinks Bix has a mental illness causing him to act that way towards him. Bix said Dave does steroids and roid rages at people online. And after that they're always dissing each other. That's why it was a surprise Bix came to the site because it's Dave's site too.

It feels like Bix is envious of Dave's position as the go-to guy for the media to talk to about wrestling. Bix thinks Dave is a bad writer (he does make tons of typos) and that he deserves the spot as the go-to guy more.

OK thanks. Dave does make mistakes but he's been doing the Observer since like 1983. 35 years of wrestling journalism. Such a wacky entertainment/sport to cover so he's done well to make a living out of doing so. He's the go to guy because he's deeply ingrained in it. Plus he did have some contact with Vince.You can imagine Bix write Hit Em Up 2 about Meltz
