PWI reports that an incident took place earlier today between NJPW star Harry Smith and WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts at Wrestlecon. According to witnesses, Smith approached a table where Roberts was signing autographs. Then, Smith reportedly threw a cup of hot coffee in Roberts’ face.

Witnesses describe Smith as walking up to the table without saying a word and throwing the coffee on Roberts’ face. Security then cleared the area and authorities were called. After that, Smith then left the venue before they could speak to him.

Harry Smith is claiming that Roberts refused to apologize for some “disparaging comments” Roberts made about Smith’s father, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, in some recent podcast appearances. Harry then later went to confront Roberts at his WrestleCon table, and Roberts declined to speak to Smith about the situation.

After that, Harry stated that he asked Roberts to step outside to settle their issues in a fight. That’s not considering that Roberts is 62 years old and has had a number of health issues. Harry then says that Roberts then started to swear and told Harry to “F*** off.”

This was apparently what triggered Harry to throw the coffee cup into Roberts’ face. He stated that Roberts’ daughter then tried to fight him, stating, “Jake and his daughter were acting inappropriate and wanted to start a scene.” Harry is also claiming that Roberts tried to offer him drugs at the 2012 WrestleCon, which is something else Harry Smith had issues with Roberts over.
Was the daughter the one on Beyond The Mat?

I don't know what he said about Davey. But it's weird because in shoots he talks about how much he liked the British Bulldogs and is probably the only guy who says anything nice about Dynamite.

Wonder what podcast he said it on? Maybe Sean Mooney or something like that.

Speaking of Jake...

All Google shows is something he said on Piper's podcast years ago.
Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid's affinity for ribbing their fellow wrestlers is well documented, and they were notable for taking it too far and crossing over from humor into cruelty. For a time, the tag team was accompanied to the ring by their english bulldog, Matilda. As a matter of fact, there were all kinds of animals running around the WWE at the time - Matilda, Damien, Koko B' Ware's parrot, Frankie and Ricky Steamboat's kimodo dragon. The Bulldogs used to take lit cigarettes and toss them into the snake's bag to anger it so it was difficult for Jake to deal with when he got out to the ring. It's clear there's no love lost on Jake's end, as he calls the deceased Davey Boy a "d*ck", a "sh*t creator" and :a real piece of sh*t." In retaliation for their treatment of his snake, Jake fed Matilda multiple chilli dogs covered in Ex-Lax, timing it so that the dog's bowel difficulties would unleash by the time they got back to their hotel. But the Bulldogs couldn't be bothered to take Matilda outside to use the bathroom because they had to hit the bar. Roberts goes over to their room and pounds on the door every few minutes, and every time he does the poor pup unloads a torrent of hershey squirts that no pooper scooper would ever be able to clean up.

Also apparently Harry confronted Scott Hall over Hall saying he didn't think Davey was Hall of Fame worthy. But Scott talked it out with him so there was no incident. But I think Harry is friends with Cody Hall so may have come to him peacefully.

Hopefully this won't hurt his career since he's grown into being a good mean heel the past few years.

Harry is someone who WWE should take a second look at. The Bulldog was really popular in his heyday and if they made him Davey Boy Jr and pushed him in the UK tournament he'd get over.

Killer Elite Squad are some of the few New Japan wrestlers who'd be better off in WWE. They'd have great matches with the Usos.

Lance was in the WWE for a while so both know the WWE style. I think they'd try and push Harry as a face though to capitalize on the UK market.

I saw the Andre documentary last night and it's fantastic.

Mean Gene looks like he has a really nice house. Good for him for holding on to his money.

And Hogan does a hilarious Andre impression.

I'd definitely like to see it too. Will it be put up on the WWE Network or is just for HBO?

Sometimes. Sky Atlantic usually which mostly shows GOT and old HBO shows like Sopranos, Oz etc. Sky Atlantic is exclusive to the Sky platform so I don't get the channel now.

It'll show up online somewhere today.

Another funny part was talking about all the hot chick's he'd get. Flair is asked why. "He wore a size 24 shoe and wore the biggest rings you'd ever see. So you tell me." :olol:

There is a rumor floating around via social media that the Arizona’s Police’s investigation into raped allegations against Enzo Amore have come to an end.

While we can’t confirm that is in fact true, we have looked into court dockets in the state of Arizona and there was never any official case filed against Eric Arndt (Enzo’s real name) and the belief is it was only an investigation because no significant evidence could be brought against him.

Philomena Sheahan, the individual that accused Enzo, deleted her Twitter account (@missgucciwitch) after her former friend Sam revealed on Twitter that her investigation against Enzo was dropped by the authorities. That tweet has also been deleted.

We will keep you updated if we receive any other information on Enzo or his accusers’ status.

How long before he's back in the WWE or has he burnt that bridge?

If he had informed them of the investigation he'd come back. But he didn't and people don't like him in general so he won't be. Plus 205 Live moved on to more seriousness. The Zo Train stuff wouldn't fit in now.
