He was on one briefly where Matt Jackson saw him in the crowd at PWG and said he should come in and do the Hogan victory posedown with them after their match and he laughed.
OK cool, I think Dave as the Bullet Clubs Hogan would have been fun.

Yeah, remember the days before the internet when you'd have to beg to order a pay per view? My mom was of the belief paying $30 for fake fighting was ridiculous so I'd have to go to a friends house whose father was a fan so ordered, or get him to VHS tape it for me. Now you can stream it cheap or download it in a half hour for free. God bless the internet.

Yep, now there's so much wrestling available if you had a time machine and said you can watch thousands of hours on wrestling on WWE Network YouTube etc I think we'd never believe it.

Much improved over Super WrestleMania, which wasn't too bad but every wrestler had the same move set and no finisher. Survivor Series matches were good though.

I loved that game. I probably played it more than any other wrestling game besides maybe WCW/nWo Revenge.

Yea its a great game. Still play it ocassionally now via emulators. WCW/NWO Revenge was like wow when I first played it considering I had Nitro on the PlayStation which is barely playable. Revenge I think along with No Mercy and VPW2 still stand up well today. Shame AKI don't get the license to make a new wrestling game, but I think Fire Pro has the New Japan license.

Oh man, Nitro was complete shit. It looked great for its time, but the game play was so bad. I got it for Christmas and maybe played it 5 times total. WCW World Tour was the fun Playstation game.

Yep Nitro looked really good but the game itself sucked. They put it out for PC too. The other WCW game is much better and its made by AKI. Backstage Assault has to be the worse WCW game at least you had some  at the character selection screen on Nitro. Thunder was slightly better.

I never bothered trying Backstage Assault because the reviews were saying it was awful. Plus WCW was just about dead anyway. But I did have Thunder and that was definitely better than Nitro.

It was awful, but it did have a fairly packed roster of basically everyone in WCW at that time. If they had sorted the graphics, fixed the controls and had matches in ring and had the backstage bit attached it would have been fairly decent.

I also liked the first WCW game for the N64 which I think predates VPW64 as you could edit characters names in that game.
