Yea that was the beginning of the end for WCW. They should have kept Goldberg undefeated for the longest time and when you do beat him have like the entire nWo involved, kinda like when all the heels went after Taker. Then he gets revenge on them all then you do Goldberg v Hogan (this time on PPV instead of free on Nitro). But I think WCW was on the way down by this point anyway so unless they pushed the younger guys (Eddie, Benoit, Jericho et al) or hired some new names it was still going to get beat by the WWF as their product was on a roll and WCW were playing catch up once Rock really hit his stride.
