It seems strange to say that it's good that you got it for the EB price, seeing how EB are usually the ones doing the price gouging.

I purchased a second copy of Yooka-Laylee. My Kickstarter version was on PS4, but after seeing it in action on PC, I knew I made the wrong choice. I've already put 7 hours into the PS4 game, but I enjoy the game enough to give them more money and start over on Steam.

Traded off a bunch of Wii U and 3DS games and got enough credit to buy an Xbox One S. Even better, I asked if they had Rare Replay. They said yes but it was disc only. I groaned while asking how much, and he said since it was missing the case he would just toss it in for free. Super excited.

So on Monday I was watching youtube, and saw an ad for a new wipeout game and thought to myself, HMM maybe time to get a cheap PS4 to play it.
Looked up prices and even shitty used ones were like $250..

Yesterday JB had a one day sale where they had 500GB slims for $279 Which was made better by the fact I had a further newsletter subscriber discount.
so...

PS4 slim 500GB $260.05

And the best part is, Target have a sale starting today with the new wipeout for $39 and Uncharted 4 for $27
And another plus, all the titles I was interested in around launch are now worth next to nothing. (the order, driveclub, last guardian etc)And another plus.. Shenmue 3 in 6 months to 6 years! Looking forward to playing a new wipeout game. Haven't played one since 2005-6 on PSP (pure)

In a related note.. I miss Psygnosis

They may have never been as good as Naughty Dog, But were always better than Insomniac, Polyphony, Sucker punch, Cambridge and Guerrilla Games combined...

Nice. There are lots of good cheap games for the PS4 now. Don't forget to get Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap.

And don't diss Guerilla Games, Horizon Zero Dawn is great.

I'm not getting wonderboy. I wanted duck game, but I can't find it so I'm guessing it never got released, or it's been taken off the store.
I also want broforce, but happy to wait for it under $10

In other news, PS plus 1 year subs are $50 starting tomorrow, so I gotta decide if it's worth it.
