So you paid $500+ for a game?

I bought it for $69. 20 years ago.
in 1998 I was 11, and convincing my parents to get me the cheaper PlayStation with it's cheaper games was a lot easier than the about to die Saturn and I knew that Sega was about to have something MUCH better coming up.. And they did, It was called the Dreamcast.

I spent $500 getting a dreamcast when I was 13 and had access to the savings from my dollarmites account for the first time...
That $500 has probably been my best investment in my entire life.. My DC is still going strong more than half of my life later. :owink:

This $500+ investment, is just me as an adult going back to play the games I missed... 1998 was a VERY important year for gaming... Half-Life, Banjo, Resident evil 2, Grim Fandango and Spyro just off the top of my head...

But unlike EVERY OTHER FUCKING GAME FROM 1998, Saga has NEVER been re-released, and probably never will be...
so a few hundred to play and preserve a game that would otherwise be forgotten is ok. :owink:

Or do you object to that? and would rather have 500+ copies of Fifa name a year?

Let’s Go Eevee with Poke Ball. My son talked me into it despite my dislike of Pokémon games. So far it’s pretty fun to play together, though the two player mode is basically cheat mode since every battle ends up being 2 against one.

Just Cause 4 Gold Edition (PS4) though I just checked & for some reason the one they gave me isnt the steelbook one shown on Game's website & looks more like this box that Amazon have not sure whats going on there but I'l be goin back tomorrow (or some point this week at least) to find out I think

I'll add this as an edit rather than a new bit
Well I got the steelbook part at least, turns out its kept seperate from the game for some reason, even the girl serving didnt understand why, no sign of the neon pack though & she couldnt find any even after asking a colleague, seemed to think maybe it was online only or they hadnt had the codes yet. If you're getting it from Game make sure they get the steelbook as well as the box with the game in folks

New Nintendo 3DS xl with charger
Luigi’s mansion 2
Smash brothers
Monster hunter ultimate 4
Pokémon x
R4 cart with 8gb card full or normal ds games.
$115.

I don’t particularly like the system.. it weighs almost as much as the switch, and is top heavy.
I don’t think I’ll be keeping this one for very long. It’s slightly too big for a pocket but the battery life is amazing.

Playing some key games and will probably just stick to switch.. tbh probably gonna get rid of gaming pc too.

Best Saber for PSVR, which makes me both happy and sad. Happy because it’s the best VR game I’ve ever played and within minutes became instantly addictive. But sad because there are only 16 songs, which means things are going to get repetitive fast. I wish I had the PC version, but I just don’t have the desire to mess with all the setup of getting the PSVR working on it.

Beat Saber modding on PC is sooooooooooo damn simple, it's awesome. You literally run and executable, tell it to install the patch, then download the songs in game. If getting PSVR on PC gets easier, you definitely should look into it

It's showing its age a little these days, but there's something for everyone on that system. You can also pick up Pocket Card Jockey and you won't have to shell out another $500.

Yeah the 3DS/New 2DS is still a good system, especially if you like JRPGs. Just get the non-XL version if you want a lighter version of it.

The only downside is that it's region locked. Region locking a portable system, not one of Nintendo's brightest ideas..

That was a dumb idea. There's a few NTSC games I wanted that didn't make it to PAL, Gotta Protectors being one of them.

The fact that I skipped every Nintendo portable game after the gba means it’s a hell of a jump up so doesn’t feel dated to me at all.

Luigi’s mansion 2 is great, it’s like I’m playing it on cube but anywhere.

Have to say despite looking prettier, Pokémon is exactly the same as Pokémon blue and red so I got bored after about 6 hours.

I’ve got some Mario karts to catch up on so will trade Pokémon for all the Mario karts on various ds platforms.

And I’ve just bought another PlayStation 1.
Untested, but lots of shit for $20.

Sprint Vector for PSVR

This game is punishing. Not only does it require the physical exertion similar to cross country skiing, the AI will destroy you until you learn the controls and course layouts. After 40 minutes of attempts on the very first stage I finally got first place, but my arms muscles were on fire. This game is going to be my new workout regimen.
