I bought a backlight mod kit for my GBA. I had a few scary moments installing it when I hit the power switch and the screen started flashing, but otherwise I'm pretty impressed with the install. Looking at it, you would never know it didn't come with a backlight.

The first castlevania game on GBA is so much easier with a back light.

That's cool. Some good games there.

Do you have any 360 games left? Lots of them are backwards compatible on the Xbone now.

nah. I thought I kept the fable games, but can't find them. All the 360 stuff is gone.
It's updating now.. the out of the box update is bigger than on the PS4.. (not by much) 1300 odd vs 1000 odd, and it's taking a fuckload longer to update than the ps4 did. within an hour I was playing my PS4, it's been like 2 hours and I still have 800MB to go.

Somehow microsoft made the horrible dpad of the 360 worse (I hate the clicky dpads, always have), and the triggers are on uncomfortable angles that feel like I have to force my fingers upwards to my thumbs. They've got the Joysticks, buttons, bumpers and shape of the pad spot on though for my hands.
Maybe I'm just spoilt after the 360 control was bang on aside from dpad.. Or maybe now that I've been using the PS4 for a bit, I can see how much sony improved the dualshock 4 after the horrible PS3 controller..

Also I like how they call it the "S" for slim.. My ps4 slim's total height is the same as the top of the DVD drive on this.

At least I can play one while the other updates.
It was nice of microsoft to include a code for 14 days free live gold.. Sony says they give you a 14 day trial, then ask for a credit card when you go to claim the trial. I'm not dumb enough to give my banking details to sony :olol:

It is, which is pretty cool.

I didn't have much interest in getting a Xbox One X until they announced the improvements the 360 games will be getting on it.

2X Megadrive six button controllers, bargain at £9.99 for the pair.
Still the best non-analogue controllers imo.

Rock Candy Wired Controller - Stormin Cherry (Xbox 360) £3.50, cant find my official wired one so when I saw it down from £9.99 to this I figured 'why not?' now if I can just configure Postal 2 to use the right stick for looking around as everything I tried so far using it with Steam works perfectly, doesnt hurt they seem to be 15 quid everywhere else either
