I don’t get it. EA are mugs?
If every person who told you your vote actually mattered voted for the same person as you, your vote would still be worthless at overcoming all the people who voted Donald Trump/Boris Johnson/Scott Morrison into office.

Origin will stay, but it looks like they will be putting games on Steam again.

I formatted Windows tonight and had to install all of my stuff. But Origin would not install at all. Kept saying the installation server was not available. Coincidence?

Could be a coincidence or they might be up to something.

EA Access and EA Games on Steam

EA and Valve Partnership

Electronic Arts and Valve have partnered to put EA games into the hands of the players on Steam. Starting next spring, EA Access—our ever-growing subscription service powered by great games and member benefits—will be making its way to Steam. EA Access is the first and only gaming subscription service available on Steam, and the fourth platform featuring an EA subscription.

The partnership kicks off with Star Wars™ Jedi: Fallen Order launching on November 15—and available for pre-order today. In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims™ 4 and Unravel™ Two. Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends™, FIFA 20, and Battlefield™ V—will become available next year, and players on both Origin™ and Steam will have the ability to play together.

A library of titles awaits you in The Vault, but beyond the games themselves, EA Access enhances your gaming experience with a medley of rewards. Get the red-carpet treatment with exclusive catalog-wide discounts, and in-game member benefits for some of our biggest franchises.

Keep an eye out for more news and updates on this partnership in the coming weeks and months!

So I wonder what changed? Did Valve relax some of its fees for developers or does EA think that Origin is limiting their available audience?

I can't wait for EA's subscription service to be on Epic, battle.net, Uplay, rockstar launcher, and next gen consoles as well.

They saw how well Xbox Game Pass is doing after MS put games on Steam and decided to try the same thing.

It''s been on Xbox for years and has just come to PS4. It will be on the next gen systems.

My emotions are all over the place. My only hope is that it’s a stupid mini game since the likelihood that I will ever get to play it is extremely small.
