That's stupid. "I think you're awful and an embarrassment to the business. Say, wanna do a match next time you're in America?"

A lot of that probably came from Jericho since he knows him and always donates to wrestlers.

I maybe missing something but why is Rip bringing up Saville?. Reading some of his twitter he actually speaks some sense. What's weirdly ironic about it all was that Saville was at one time a pro wrestler in the U.K.

He's trying to say that Ospreay is a kiddy fiddler because he won't wrestle him. Rip also called him a dinner masher. Highbrow heel work...

WON wrote:The NWA situation is almost closed where Billy Corgan is now the official owner of the brand. We’re told the basic deal was signed this past week although it’s in the hands of lawyers and everything is not completely done and the money hasn’t changed hands. It’s expected that when that aspect is done that Corgan will talk publicly about the brand. Unlike a few weeks ago, the Houston wrestling library is now part of the deal. The actual ownership of the library is still in the hands of Valerie Boesch, Paul’s widow. Bruce Tharpe was used as a broker and went to sell it to WWE, but felt their offer was too low, and then created the NWA on Demand website where they charge a monthly subscription fee and put up new matches on a regular basis as they transfer them to digital from the original tapes. Corgan will take over that position and there are a number of different things they could do with the library, including sell it to WWE, or market it in some form themselves. Another group headed by Matt Riviera was looking at making an offer to Bruce Tharpe for the NWA. The Riviera side offered Tharpe the ability to stay with the NWA and get work as a heel manager and that they would give him a title of International Brand Ambassador so he could retain his position of NWA authority in the Japanese market. Tharpe will have a role with the Corgan NWA, at least during the transition phase. The sale price is believed to be in the $175,000 to $250,000 range, although nobody has confirmed any figures other than it is a fraction of the $7 million to $9 million than Corgan had earmarked for Impact Wrestling, to pay off all the debts and other percentage owners and a purchase price, when he was looking at buying that brand. As far as what happens next, it’s a work in progress, but don’t expect anything like shows any time soon. But one idea is to use the NWA brand name to market historical aspects like books, DVDs or other projects.

Thanks for the explanation Zoidy. I think Ospreay should troll him back. I think I read this in one of the Apter mags back in the day, IIRC Dutch Mantell clarified it was true:
Rip Rogers pulled Barry Windham's keys out of a commode filled with shit

It varies whose keys they were though. Other tellings said Tommy Rich or Ricky Morton.

A strange incident took place on Friday morning at Arena Mexico as footage was captured that showed several members of the Alvarado family destroying Jose Gutierrez aka Ultimo Guerrero's expensive car.

The incident took place in the parking lot and among the family members who appeared were CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Maximo Sexy, La Mascara, Brazo de Platino, Psycho Clown (without his mask), and Robin (also without his mask). Most were standing around while the others smashed up the car.

According to the Cubsfan, who has been at Arena Mexico, the parking garage is a public area. The video that was shot started being passed around within the pro wrestling world Friday morning until somebody leaked it on Facebook before the show started.

It is unclear what the reason for the attack was, although Super Luchas speculated that it had to do with the wrestlers union. Jesus Alvarado, better known as Brazo de Oro of the Alvarado family was head of the wrestlers union. He passed away on April 28th. Super Luchas claimed that Gutierrez was named the new head of the union and the Alvarado family was furious. They claimed for some reason that the CMLL security did not stop the attack. About 90 seconds of footage was shown.

Maximo Sexy was scheduled for the main event of last night's show, and was replaced by Marco Corleone. La Mascara wasn't booked on the show, but is also one of CMLL's top stars. Psycho Clown is one of the most popular wrestlers with the AAA promotion.

Ultimo Guerrero worked the show and shot his long-building angle with Niebla Roja. There was no acknowledgement of the incident either in the commentary or any storyline on the show.
They were all fired.

And it's interesting WWE lets a guy call himself Ultimate Warrior without suing CMLL.

But he will be as bald as him in a year. He's halfway there. Poor guy defines "good look for radio." He wants an on air job so bad, but Vince probably had to be forced to put him on the Network as part of the deal with Sirius.

Cranky Vince had a "GODDAMN PAL. WHO LET SIDESHOW BOB ON MY NETWORK." tweet.

I just hope Zack doesn't decide to get a nipple ring when he's 50 to disturb people at on indie shows.
