well that ppv as alright, maybe a little better than they normally manage but not by a huge amount. Probably the best were the 30 minute tag match & Roman v Stroman although the ambulance incident felt a little forced. Also since when does an ambulance match end when the door shuts? sure they used to have to throw em in & have it drive off to win, likewise casket ones ended when the lid was closed but the last one they did ended with Stroman (I think it was) merely standing in the open cascet rather than having the lid closed on him. Has the PG rating cancer reached that far?

Meltzer said Enzo & Cass are pretty disliked in the locker room. Enzo insulted Roman Reigns and wasn't allowed to dress in the locker room at GBOF and Cass is supposedly arguing with anybody who says they don't like Trump (although that will get him over with Vince so that's kind of smart.)

I don't think WWE likes Renee very much.

Renee is arguably one of the best announcer/host they have right now. Renee and Bryan came across really well on Talking Smack and from what I've seen of it it was a fun show that helped characters get over. There could lay the problem WWE doesn't like talent getting over on its own accord. Which is why they put the brakes on Zack and Fandango to name a few who were getting over without a push.

That's the 600th time Zack Ryder got over on his own and they refused to go with it. Poor guy.

While I'm glad the reveal wasn't a Stephanie return to get Raw back, who gives a shit if Kurt Angle has a son. This will not get Jordan over. Maybe if he hated him for not being in his life and it led to a Mania match, but not like this.

Claire Lynch should have came out and told Kurt that AJ is their son.

Yesterday it was reported that Gable was going to be the surprise son. So people are speculating that they switched to Jordan at the last minute. That sucks for him if that's true, as his career is probably going to be hurt for at least a few months until they figure out what to do with him solo. It would be better if he got superkicked and thrown through a barbershop window right now. Or maybe they can team him with Enzo.

That Kurt/Jordan stuff wasn't just Wrestlecrap gold, it's Wrestlecrap double platinum. Fingers crossed the Momma is Shelton Benjamins mother or better yet WWE could hire Martin Lawrence to play Sheneneh. I'm assuming this is a rib on Kurt since wasn't he dating Rhaka Khan at one point?.

Ha, Shelton's mom was so weird. They hired Thea Vidale, a stand up comedian who had a sitcom on ABC in the mid 90s, so it was strange seeing someone in WWE with outside success. She was great in the role, but it sucked for Shelton who is very good but he was turned into a comedy act. So you had mixed feelings watching it. They should have given her to Orlando Jordan or somebody who wasn't over.

And if they did make her Jordan's father it would make sense because that's how he could have known about Shelton and put him on Team Angle.

But don't worry, he's okay. One more bump he doesn't sell.

Good Shane O is OK. The whole Momma Benjamin as Jason's Mom would be fun, however it's someone Kurt supposedly met in college unless she was like canteen staff or something. Then they could bring back Shelton too. I'd like to see a rework of the Bret/Owen feud with the feuding brothers. The match between Bret and Mr Bob Backlund was one which stands out as it was like Owen broke kayfave and was going off script and that he really did care about Bret enough to get IIRC Brets Mom to throw the towel in. I think it's from the 1994 Survivor Series.

Yeah, Survivor Series 94. Bulldog was Bret's towelman, Owen was Backlund's. Davey chases Owen around the ring and he accidently knocks himself out on the ring post. Bret is in the chickenwing for what felt like a half hour but was probably only 10 minutes, as Owen pleads with Helen to throw in the towel as Stu tries to talk her out of it saying Bret wouldn't want her to do it. Owen's crying at the end, so then Helen breaks off being restrained by Stu and throws in the towel. Crying Owen suddenly starts laughing at them and runs in the ring to celebrate with Backlund. It was such a great angle I only saw once or twice and still vividly remember. Owen was so great.

Brock Lesnar is quietly back in the USADA testing pool for UFC, meaning that rumors about him potentially returning to fight have some substance.

Rumors broke today claiming that Lesnar and Paul Heyman were at the UFC offices over International Fight Week and talking about him fighting in Madison Square Garden on November 4th. That date would be impossible because Lesnar had a one-year suspension for two failed drug tests for Hydroxy-Clomiphene which dates back to his final positive test on July 9th.

Lesnar's one-year suspension was frozen in mid-February, meaning that he has five months left, putting a return to UFC competition at mid-December at the earliest.

Lesnar announced his retirement, meaning he was also out of the USADA testing pool.

Much of the story was denied to us, including Heyman being in the offices, however those in UFC did confirm the obvious interest in Lesnar fighting again if he would choose to do so. Putting himself back in the pool means Lesnar, who just turned 40, at least has some interest in fighting again.

It will be big. But imagine how massive Rock/Rousey vs HHH/Stephanie would have been when she was undefeated. That would have had more interest than Trump in Mania 23. If the WWE Network didn't exist that would do 2 million buys easily. Maybe 2.5 million.

It would have been huge but from a wrestling perspective it will probably work out better this way.
