I certainly do, it was on the school computers in the early 00s.

I remember using Hotline for a few years to grab music and TV shows

Or the glorious golden age of Napster (on our old iMac)

That and browsing DCEMU with the comic book theme.

Something a coworker reminded me of the other day was the existence of Atom Films and those stupid Angry Kid shorts.

Yes. That was the worst campaign ever. "Hey, we have rats in our restaurant!"

Then 10 years later it turned out their competitor Subway had an even worse ad campaign in hindsight....

That thing sucks! It's head is too big and the face is just weird. The video is odd too, talking about having to update it from the 1985 version. They made a version that was basically exactly the same as the 1985 version from 2005-2010. It still had books but used little cartridges instead of cassettes. The LCD eyes on the new one seem very unnecessary.

The LCD eyes are creepy. Best to find an OG T-Rux instead. The stories have been upped to archive.org

It's the price we must pay for the greatness of on demand services.

Stre...am..I..nn..g are g...r...e...a...t when they don't disconnect and buffer a million times.

Here's something I just remembered

We got TMNT here, but the word ninja must have sent alarm bells ringing of it being too dangerous or something so all the merch, comics, TV shows etc was Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles instead. I think the arcade game had Ninja on it and Shinobi wasn't boycotted so weird the Turtles got heat.

As a kid I remember having a TMNT game on C64 but it was a UK version because it had Hero in the title. Back then I thought it might have been some knock off game. :olol:

 I don't recall if the arcade game was called Hero but it must have been I'm assuming too. The MAME one is Ninja I think. The Hero turtles TV show were edited too on BBC
https://www.movie-censorship.com/report ... 4688801The RTE2 version wasn't edited apart from the title credits.

Yep and what if the internet goes out? It's nice to have some DVDs to drag out when there is nothing else on.

I can't say I remember that since I'm in the US but I had heard about it long ago. Similar thing with Contra, all the humans were replaced with robots and the game was renamed Probotector

Yep plus a lot of stuff is either taken off for licensing issues or not on streaming services. Like with the wrestling it's on there but entrance music etc is edited which is why I still have my VHS tapes.

TMNT was edited in most of Europe I think, I'll find the article later. We got Punch Out but it had Mike Tyson removed, unless I played a reissued one.
