Expensive but "blumin' 'ell worth it, gov'nor", sharp image, deep colours, no pesky jailbars and I'm even noticing details that I couldn't see with my old RGB cable. Pretty damn impressive.
Do you have one of these?

With that cable it should look nice and clean on a big screen.

The only issue I have is that the screen isn't centred properly, but I think that might be my TV as I've had that issue with CRTs in the past... Just wondering if the Ex
Pro would sort it out?

Think my brother would also be interested in one of those as his TV doesn't even come with a scart socket!

I don't know if that will fix the centering problem. I used to have the same problem using VGA Dreamcast on my previous TV. The picture could be moved but it had to be done every time it was started, which was annoying.

Wipeout Omega Collection (PS4)

I’ve played Wipeout. I’ve played games in VR. But my body was not ready for Wipeout in VR. It’s the first time in my life that a video game has caused motion sickness. But I couldn’t stop playing. I couldn’t stop looking at these amazing environments. I couldn’t take the headset off. And as I lay here, all I can think about is popping some Dramamine pills and jumping back in.

Good it isn't just me, I tried Gran Turismo in a store. When I took a hard turn I swore I could feel the centripetal force.

Singstar Pop (PS2)
Singstar Chart Hits (PS2)
Eye Toy Play (PS2)

32GB Memory Card (Vita)

The Singstar & Eye Toy stuff was from the recycle store at the tip. The Xbox games, No One Lives Forever & The Binding Of Isaac were from there as well. The Binding Of Isaac was in with the DVDs so it was only $2, thought it might be worth something being the physical version.

The Vita stuff were all PSN specials.

The PS3 games were EB 3 for $18 deals.

virtua cop
virtua cop 2
daytona usa CCE
panzer dragoon
panzer dragoon 2
shinobi X
virtua on
sonic jam
fighters megamix
xmen chirdren of the atom
mortal combat 3
street fighter alpha: warriors dreams
shellshock
blast chamber
bug too
exhumed
die hard arcade
story of thor 2
nights into dreams (with 3D pad) I've since fucked the joystick in the 3D pad (the spring wont "screw" back in like the dreamcast ones so it's now loose meaning I'll have to buy a new controller)

Only games I'm really missing are wipeout, destruction derby, sega rally and the impossibly priced panzer Dragoon Saga.

Also, the saturn has a really decent d-pad, it feels less squishy and imprecise as the megadrive ones did. although admittedly my memory of the megadrive is faded... Still better than ANY other dpad excluding the NES, SNES and n64 Nothing can top that shit, man!!

Also WHY THE FUCK HASN'T ANYONE MADE A DECENT DPAD SINCE 1996?!?!?!?

That's a nice bunch of games. Dragonforce is another good one you are missing, which is also expensive these days.

The Vita has a good dpad.

Good dpad and sony anything cannot be used in the same sentence.. The home playstation ones have always been uncomfortable and the portables have always been too squishy.

I'd be inclined to pass the PS4 as having the best dpad of any sony console...
In fact I will, the PS4 has the best dpad of any sony console. in fact, as a whole, the dual shock 4 is WAYYY better than the xbox one pad. ESPECIALLY THE DPAD.. BUT ESPECIALLY EVERYTHING ELSE.

It's not that the bone pad is bad, it's a very good control, but not much improvement over the 360.. it's just that sony lifted their game after the abysmal sixaxis and dual shock 3. Which were just fucking woeful in every way, and delivered something REALLY good in the DS4.

Biggest problem with the xbox one... Didn't come with a retro games console to plug in and play while it spent three fucking weeks updating!!

All new games consoles should come with a master system/NES - ps2/xbox/gamecube/dreamcast and the single hardest game for each system so you can beat a game while they fucking update!

now it's updated I should get a ps4 (again) to update while I play the bone, then vice versa.. but then eventually they'd both need to be updated at the same time and I'd have to buy a switch..

The NBN will be great they said.. Then my house got lumped with the shittiest of all the wired connections. (Actually using telstra 4GX in peak times just for browsing because it's faster, fucking expensive, but faster)
