LOL@Coach. And he's supposed to be tight with Vince.

It's a shame about Paige feeling the need to get cosmetic surgery. She was beautiful the way she was. I hope she doesn't end up looking freaky like Missy Hyatt.

She's just turned 26 and already had too much done. Doubt she will stop anytime soon.

I agree. Shes starting to look like idk which one of them, Kylie Jenner?. It's the Kardashians and them with their "plastic fantastic" look which are causing beautiful women to mess up their natural beauty with fillers, fake lips, boob jobs, butt implants etc. Its a really messed up distortion of how beauty is perceived nowadays.

With MJ his father and brothers taunted him terribly about his nose calling him "big nose" and he saw a reflection of his father every time he looked in the mirror. So once he had the money to totally transformed his appearance so he looked nothing like him in the end. Plus the plastic surgery became an addiction. No one was going to say no to Mike if he wanted some work done. Notice with Frank Dileo there wasn't much change but as soon as he's out of the picture he looks different for the Dangerous LP. So I think Frank had a positive influence on MJ and probably dissuaded him from surgery. I think those with addictions to plastic surgery suffer from body dysmorphia where they hate their natural appearance. So whilst Michael is mocked because of it he couldn't actually really help wanting to change his looks. The plastic surgeons should have said stop but again no ones going to say no to the King of Pop.

It doesn't seem legit. It could be, but something seems a bit off with it.

He also wouldn't be able to fly back to North Carolina this weekend.

Unless he wants to travel back home this way

Yea I agree, weird its being announced when he's walking out of the building too. Could be a "retirement" so Broken Matt makes a surprise entry at the Rumble. If he is done I wonder if he will go into creative. He could work with JB in NXT.

So it seems the finish was to set up a three way with Reigns, Braun and Brock for Saudi Arabia.

Decent show. I think Hardy and Orton stole the show. Doing another screwy finish for AJ is hurting his match quality. So he needs a clean win or just give Joe the title and have him be the monster heel he was in ROH and his first two years of TNA.

Vinny on Bryan & Vinny calling the new cell The Red Blood Cell was great. It really does suck like a bad WWE 2K18 customization.

Not surprised. It's impossible to prove WWE was where their brain trauma started when every plaintiff wrestled in different promotions before and after their WWE run. Like did Butch Reed get head trauma severe enough to cause CTE in WWF, or did it happen in Mid South, WCW, or his football career prior to even wrestling? You cannot prove it happened between 1986 and 1988.

well Hell in a Cell was a bit of a let down overall, thats saying something considering I often find them to be a bit underwhelming, some thoughts

New Day/Rusev Day - an alright kick off show match, cant complain too much as that slots not intended for the biggest draws anyway as everyones stil filtering in to the place.
Orton/Hardy HIAC - not a bad one to kick off the main ppv with, by modern wwe standards Orton got medieval on Hardy with the ear thing (I wont compare it to any kind of war he has been in as that would be way more severe than this was) overall enjoyable & of course the rubber cloves came out as there was a small bit of red from Randy (probably using up the total of allowed red stuff for the entire show though with the nice touch of 'screw the medics I want an ending' from Randy
Then things settled down to usual wwe levels & got a little dull for a while with the next 2 matches only being ppv in the length really, expected more from the tag one but it seemed tame
AJ/Joe - this one was a bit better probably due to familiarity from their previous job but again not one that really needed a ppv setting, fun though I guess
Miz & Maryse/Danial & Bree - after all the build up they continued Maryse running away for most of it which turned it into a strait Danial/Miz match for most of it, guess they want this fued to keep going but I cant see it having too much steam left
Rousey/Bliss - as expected really, right down to the attempted interference, big commedy points for the moments Alexa looked like she nearly shat herself in terror though as those actually did make me laugh
Reigns/Strowman - the main hiac match that everyone tuned in for & what did they do? have fucking Brock come out & kill it. I could live with everyones teammates coming out then fighting outside, I even liked the callback of having Dolph & Seth come off the cell through tables (not so much the fact they were nearly halfway down it when they did though) but then to have Brock kick his way in & trash the match was just dumb

I think the main question there is 'did Vanguard 1 survive?'

Yea you had some of the guys who played football in college and/or the CFL & NFL too. Like you say it's not possible to judge where their trauma started. CTE is currently only a diagnosis that can be given once someone passes and they study the brain. It's also likely some of the older wrestlers might have symptoms correlating with early onset Alzheimer's. Could they have been brought on by head trauma - yes, but genetics play a part too. I'm also not ruling out they are having CTE symptoms caused by multiple concussions but to say they are because of taking hard bumps in a WWF ring only I don't really buy that. They probably wrestled in much worse rings and also if they played football and/or other contact based sports then it could be a cumulative effect where it's a multitude of concussions harming the brain from different sources. Had they had their brains scanned and evaluated by a doctor who specialises in concussions who could narrow it down when the damage occurred that would have made seemed more legit. But again to my knowledge you can't retroactively see when the brain started to become damage. Currently they look for a buildup of Tau protein in the brain so I'm unsure if any brain scan(s) were presented as evidence. If say 20 years down the line the current WWE roster filed a lawsuit even then you have wrestlers who worked on the indies so you couldn't actively judge when all their concussions happened either. Really current talent should be evaluated now and keep a documented note when they get a concussion. Speaking of which has Mick Foley ever had his brain scan since him and guys who worked that style are in theory must more likely to be at risk of CTE.

Let her wrestle Ronda first, if Brie stiffs her then she can announce her retirement while being carried out on a stretcher.
