in 1998 I was 11, and convincing my parents to get me the cheaper PlayStation with it's cheaper games was a lot easier than the about to die Saturn and I knew that Sega was about to have something MUCH better coming up.. And they did, It was called the Dreamcast.Dr. Zoidberg wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 8:32 pm So you paid $500+ for a game?
I bought it for $69. 20 years ago.
I spent $500 getting a dreamcast when I was 13 and had access to the savings from my dollarmites account for the first time...
That $500 has probably been my best investment in my entire life.. My DC is still going strong more than half of my life later.
This $500+ investment, is just me as an adult going back to play the games I missed... 1998 was a VERY important year for gaming... Half-Life, Banjo, Resident evil 2, Grim Fandango and Spyro just off the top of my head...
But unlike EVERY OTHER FUCKING GAME FROM 1998, Saga has NEVER been re-released, and probably never will be...
so a few hundred to play and preserve a game that would otherwise be forgotten is ok.
Or do you object to that? and would rather have 500+ copies of Fifa name a year?
