Have a question about the infamous WWF No Mercy glitch. Did they ever say or figure out What actually cause(s) it, what triggers it to happen and which ROM version doesn't have it?. Thanks.

That’s cool and all, but it’s so ridiculously difficult that it will never be run viable. It took him days to finally land that.

Here's a good breakdown about how ridiculous it is

Before I even clicked on this thread, I knew what glitch you were going to post about. I watched hours of Gym’s stream the other day as he logged every changed address in the game as it compares to Skyloft. Gym’s first run after finish the spreadsheet shaved something like 50 minutes. It even brought Thursday out of retirement last night to start practicing. It’s been years since he did a run of SS.

I’m just so excited to see people running Skyward Sword again. I love that game so much.

So that Skyward Sword glitch has so radically changed the game that the route changes literally every few hours. I was watching Thursday doing a run yesterday, and at the 2 hour mark someone in chat commented that he was doing ‘the old skip.’ Apparently they changed the route when he was 30 minutes in, and that was after he practiced doing a route he just learned an hour before the stream.

Gymnast is breaking Skyward Sword again. He found a way to take BiT outside of Skyloft, which opens up a massive new door to more manipulations. He’s already discovered another 45 minutes worth of time saves.

Well, he got a 2:34 on his very first run with the new skips, and that was only because he wanted to do a run with the stuff he had found so far before going to bed. So yeah, it’s definitely possible.
