They might as well bring back WCW & ECW while they are at it. And start a new developmental show.

An agency representing both CM Punk and WWE recently reached out to Fox officials about Punk possibly doing work with WWE once again.

Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which represents WWE and Punk, recently had an agent reach out to Fox higher-ups about having Punk serve as one of the co-hosts of the upcoming WWE in-studio talk show on FS1, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Punk would be working for Fox, not WWE, if a deal was to be reached. The Observer speculated that WWE would hate the idea. Word is that there have been zero negotiations regarding Punk possibly taking the gig. It was also noted by the Observer that this is only something Punk's agent brought up, and not anything that Punk clearly wanted. Sources in WWE reportedly indicate that there's nothing to the speculation.

The WWE FS1 in-studio show is set to air on Tuesday nights later this year. It's been reported that Renee Young will be the main host, but plans may have changed since that was first reported earlier in the summer.

They'd better refuse all further couples angles.

If this isn't a work (and I feel bad that I'm so jaded at the WWE that I still wonder about this) then I completely agree.

Never thought they would want Enzo back.

They'd be crazy not to accept the offer.

Enzo probably worked them into thinking AEW wants him to come in for a big feud with Joey Janela.

Cass is saying the right things. But should he come back if he's talking about having depression possibly from CTE and he had a seizure that Tommy Dreamer had to call 911 for?

It's very risky, similar to Daniel Bryan. If you evaluate him match per match I don't see much of an issue. If WWE do bring Cass back in, you really need to put him with Enzo as a package deal. As despite the whole allegations etc (which proved to be false) he's a guy who if you keep him in check would be worth rehiring because of the potential upside. They got over huge in NXT and were real over even on the main roster and WWE needs talent who have that appeal to the audience.

The problem is, while Cass knows where he screwed up and seems very sincere that he's changed, Enzo is still Enzo. Which in the old days wouldn't be an issue because most wrestlers were a little crazy. But the way WWE is in 2019 he's a huge problem. Not even just with corporate culture, nobody seems to like him. And while he doesn't do anything as bad as The Clique was in the mid-90s, he's also not Shawn Michaels who causes chaos but is also one of the best in the world. He's an awful wrestler who can cut promos that get pops. But if the power players like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins don't want him around you have a problem. Also if you're trying to use NXT to lure hardcore fans away from AEW, I wouldn't pick Enzo and Cass as the guys to do it. If they're competing with great wrestling the show needs to revolve around Gargano and Adam Cole. Those fans are skipping seeing Kenny Omega on free TV to hear Enzo catchphrases from 3 years ago.

In 1985 when they were launching SNME on NBC they didn't have references to Bruno Sammartino and Billy Graham in the ads. In 1999 when they were launching Smackdown on UPN they didn't have references to Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant.

Who will they use in ads 20 years from now? Don't think Seth & Becky will be in them.

Baron.

The weird thing is that they pay Brock 6 trillion dollars a year and he's not shown or referenced. Neither is Ronda, who while obviously she's on hiatus to act (on a FOX show, as well), is still more realistic to come back than Rock and Austin.
