It's $99 a card, the value of the card could be between $35 and $700. I was talking to the guy and he said he knows exactly what's in them because it's put together by the shop themselves, it's not something they buy. He said they're pretty popular. This is what I got from mine.

I've looked at the SCAA site before and thought about getting a One Hit Wonder and some other things from there. Looks like it's a good store.

Thanks for confirming that. I didn't realise it was short print but the ones I found on ebay were going for a lot.

I've spoken to 3 different dudes there, they all seemed pretty nice. The first time I went me and the dude were chatting for ages, but it was his first day working there by himself so he didn't know the answers to the questions I had I've got no complaints with them so far. I wish I'd gone there sooner. I hope they stick around because I've been buying my 21/22 NBA Prizm from there

I'm so out of touch with NBA that I don't know who I'm looking for, but I'd like to have some more Jordan and Shaq cards. When I was in year 6 or so I had my entire collection stolen. I was a big fan of basketball back in the day, so some older players would be nice to have again

Getting old Shaq and Jordan 90s cards is pretty easy from ebay and most of them are fairly cheap.

Shaq cards are still coming out in most Panini sets, so there are lots to get.

Jordan has been signed to Upper Deck forever, so while there are a decent amount of post-career Jordan cards, most of them aren't that great because they are usually just him in a business shirt or playing golf.

I've grabbed some of the cheaper mystery boxes from Cardlab before. They're pretty good. They are still a lottery though, so there's a risk of getting low end cards. I was actually thinking of getting some of their WWE packs during the week, and Packman's vid has made me want to get them more now.

Bought some new things. A couple of more NBA Boxes. The first one had a Topps Elton Brand patch card from 2004-05. I didn't look it up but it's probably worth about $5. It's an alright card though.

The second card had a Devin Booker 2017-18 Encased dual patch card. Looks like it goes for $200+, so pretty good value from a $30 box.



Also got a box of 2022 AEW Skybox Metal Universe and a box of 2022 Upper Deck AEW Allure. Metal came out a couple of months ago and Allure came out last week, but are still called 2022 for some reason. Both were on special so thought I would check them out, see if I can get a big hit.

The main chases are Julia Hart rookies in both sets and Skye Blue in Allure.

Skybox Metal Universe: No autos. 2 numbered cards, Sammy Guevera to /50 and Claudio to /199. Some nice parallels. Alright inserts. Nothing that exciting though. It turns out the Sammy could be worth a few hundred. I got a Julia rookie in the last pack. Phew!

Allure: No autos. 2 numbered cards, Sammy Guevera to /50 and QT Marshall to /199. Fuckin' hell. Some more nice parallels. There's a really ugly insert called "I Scream For..." that's shaped like an ice cream. Another Julia Hart base card. Yay! No Skye Blue cards. Boooo!



I bought some Metal Universe singles a couple of months ago but never took them out of the team bags. Just checked them out now and it turns out I bought a Julia Hart Premium base for $5 that I forgot about.



Looking at ebay, maybe it's because Allure just came out, but Skye Blue base rookies are worth more than Julia Hart ones. $25 to $30 for Skye, still only around $5 for Julia. Looks like card collectors like boobs and butts more than they like Stevie Nicks.

Anyhoo, overall they are both nice sets of cards. Decent price. They look good, with Metal Universe being like Prizm and Allure more like Mosiac. Needs more autos. Most of the parallels look very good, especially in Allure. Some nice acetate and die-cut inserts, and some not so good ones like that ice cream shit. You get 1 parallel and 1 insert per pack, which is good.

I was going to post what I recently got but I got Covid. I've managed to avoid it this entire time, caught it for the first time last week. The only thing really notable was a signed Zelina Vega I got in a WWE box I bought.

There were some numbered cards in there as well, but nothing going for a crazy amount online from what I could see.

I ordered 2 WWE boxes from Cherry but they miscounted their inventory and gave me 2 boxes of WWE Revolution instead

I ordered a couple of more boxes of AEW Allure. I want an auto!

Hoops 2023-24 is finally out. I ordered a box ages ago when it was cheap, it should be here next week. Also been in a couple of case breaks with a few teams. It's got some decent inserts. A lot of base, as usual. The autos are fairly meh, due to Wemby, Scoot and others signing with Fanatics so they will have no official NBA card autos for a couple of years. They do have the Thompson Twins though. The band and the basketball brothers. A lot of vet autos.

One of the inserts is called SHEESH!



Sadly, there's no Josh Giddey SHEESH! card.
