They were discussing this on IT couple of days ago and Rosey was going off about him and rightly so. Astros got Osuna in a trade and he's got a domestic abuse accusation hanging over him. Now story going around he's not remorseful for what he did. Already had a 75 day suspension now he's gone to the World Series champs.

If I'm in the Astros clubhouse I'm not even uttering a hello in his direction. You don't want folks like that associated with your team, they don't belong in sports, or anywhere. MLB should have suspended him for the entirety of the season and if he's guilty ban him from the sport entirely. Yea it's harsh but it's fair as you don't & shouldn't ever beat on women. MLB, NBA, NFL and BHL, plus all sports need a zero tolerance policy on domestic violence and sexual abuse.

 They should bring bat dogs to the Majors too. They'd bring some entertainment to boring games.

Post season is now upon us

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/279 ... redictions

NL Wildcard: Rockies vs Cubs
http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/2486 ... eir-season

I'm thinking a Cubs win here.

AL Wildcard: A's vs Yankees
https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/yank ... rediction/

The Yankees are talent stacked but Oakland have had a great season. I'm going for the NYY to win...just, but I won't be too shocked if the A's pull off a big upset.

Unfortunately someone was going to get the blame and like in soccer if a team doesn't perform and win games the manager is always the first to get the boot. The O's are very likely in the rebuilding process so I'm guessing they wanted a fresh start across the board.

Red Sox have to be the favourites but I'm not counting out the Dodgers. It's been 30 years since their last World Series win and they have a great opportunity to make up for last years loss to the Astros. So that gives the players a ton of motivation. Boston have had a great season though and I can't see them falling at the final hurdle.

It's a toss up to me and probably going 7 games. But yeah, the Red Sox dispatching the Astros like that was impressive, so they're probably the favorites.

Yea I was thinking it will go 7 if the Dodgers are really motivated and everyone's on point for them. #1 for them priority wise is pitching because they are up against Mookie, JD, Xander et al and you've got Steve Pearce who has hit important homeruns.

LA took 7 games to beat the Brewers & granted the Brewers are a talented team but Boston had a more difficult path to the World Series with the Yankees & Astros. I thought Houston would take the Sox to 7 games and reach the WS again but their pitching wasn't up to scratch.

Verlander's pitching in game 5 wasn't up to his normal standard and had he been on point I think they'd at least could have took it to a game 6. But yea disappointing for Houston, I wonder if bringing in Osuna did dirsrupt the team harmony but it's unlikely. I think Boston just have been on a great roll and beating the Yankees must have instilled them with confidence too. Speaking of which I think they'll make a big move in the post season for Manny, unless he plays a pivotal role for LA in the WS then they'll no doubt sign him to a longer contract.

I'm also thinking if the Red Sox played like they did against Houston I wouldn't rule out them sweeping LA.

The Dodgers are the heels of baseball this year, so people would be happy if they were swept.

That's interesting. We don't really get any Baseball coverage in the press/news media here apart from them saying celebrity ... was at the game or a tabloid mentioning about J-Lo & A-Rod so I didn't know the Dodgers were disliked. I guess because the fans wanted to see the Brewers make it to the WS. I like a good underdog story but sometimes when two big teams go up against each other that's just as beneficial too especially if they produce exciting games.

They're disliked mainly because of crazy Yasiel Puig. Manny Machado also turned heel since joining.

Yea I'm surprised about Manny, he seemed like he was a humble type person with the Os but since coming to LA maybe he's getting a bigger ego.

There's talk the Yankees *might* want Manny but he'll likely cost them $300m+

He's buddies with Puig now and is trying to impress him. Like the new kid in school trying to fit in.

I believe it's now the longest World Series game. In theory would they have still kept playing until there was a winner or would they decide to continue it the next day? (Or later in the day in this instance)
The longest game in major league baseball history was a 25-inning affair on May 8, 1984 when the Chicago White Sox beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-6. The game lasted 8 hours and 6 minutes.
