TBF a Vanilla Ice concert should be pretty socially distanced.

"The 90s were the best. We didn’t have coronavirus, or cell phones, or computers."
-Vanilla Ice.
I had a computer in the 90's. Many had Computers in the 80's
I have a 90's cell phone, AND 90's computer sitting 3 feet from me.
He goes on to say:
"Mortal Kombat is still better than Fortnight"
I agree with him, in the way that Breath of the Wild is better than Stunt Race FX
If I should Die Hard Arcade before I Alan Wake.

He was on heroin in the 90s so he probably couldn't be bothered buying a Compaq and a Nokia.

I had the pleasure to see Vanilla back in 2016 when an "I Love The 90s" concert tour came through town. Among the highlights:
- Tone-Loc collapsed during "Wild Thing." He got carried off, but was unceremoniously dragged off stage by the roadies when beyond the curtains.
- DJ comes back on stage, but yells at the crowd as they boo.
- Color Me Badd's Bryan Abrams performed the worst karaoke version of "I Wanna Sex You Up." You or I had a reasonable chance of singing it better, poor guy.
- All-4-One is legitimate and didn't deserve to be shackled with these other has-beens.
- Kid 'n Play were there? I think so, and I think they were good too.
- Coolio asked us all to remember Paul Walker. Okay.
- Vanilla Ice unveiled his new Insane Clown Posse-inspired look onto a weirdly eager crowd. Pyrotechnics were handled by the roadies holding aerosol cans and lighting them with lighters while ducking behind the stage. (Not an exaggeration, I saw that with my own eyes)
- Tone-Loc surprised everyone by being alive and joined the encore on stage as Vanilla brought the front rows on stage.

Of a ~14,000-seat arena, about 1/3 of the seats were filled. We got our tickets off the radio for free.

A friend of mine was neighbors with the Color Me Badd guy years ago and it was hardly a wealthy neighborhood. So they must have signed a bad record deal.
I hope the Ice Man roadies don't do that when they play clubs so there's not a Great White situation.

Well, if it was my boy Bryan, it sounds like he deserved everything coming to him. Any of the guys probably doesn't make much off of residuals either.Bandit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 11:22 pmThat's hilarious.

Yeah, it was him because he lived in Oklahoma.
One Color Me Badd guy (I think Dollar Store Kenny G) had a successful songwriting career with American Idol people.
