It's almost September which means we're nearing the spooky season around here. It's been rainy this week, so I'm ready for a cool crisp fall

Sledgehammer came on Spotify, so I thought I'd take a break and see if there was a live version on YouTube. And holy shit, what a performance:
1. Look at those aggressively modern outfits. And that bald due with a Major Dad mustache!
2. They are killing it live, this is awesome!
3. I love that Peter Gabriel puts so much effort into his productions.
4. I want to forget that stupid Sledgehammer hump dance, oh God help me I don't know if I can listen to this song again. I'm not one to be disgusted about male sexuality, but holy shit that is one of the worst things I've ever seen on stage. Is this parody?

Bad Religions album The New America (2000), is now closer to the groups formation than it is today.
I was listening to a bunch of Cali punk (The best of all punk) but when I realised this, I put The New America (the old school stuff) on.
I still can't decide if I love album or not.
When the album works, it really works. And when it doesn't it really falls flat. And at the end of 46 minutes I still can't say if it's a good ALBUM or if it's a bad album with some good songs on it.
It was the 3rd album in a row where Graffin pretty much did everything, and still better than the bands next album.
If I could extract 5 songs off the album and turn it into an EP, it would be the best EP ever.

If I should Die Hard Arcade before I Alan Wake.

I usually play music from the Google hub thing. Last night I asked for music from John Farnham. In seven songs there were two from him.

There's a decent amount of classic gaming soundtracks on Spotify now

That's the tricky thing about those types of speakers, they play a radio station of music similar to what you want rather than all music by them

Great tune, might be my favorite 80s song of all time.
A decade ago, my friend bought a bag of weed off a guy at an American Legion. I smoked most of it myself while watching this and XTC's Senses Working Overtime clip from TOTP.

That has a nice 80s/90s sound to it.
