We had to put Grendel down today. He totally wrecked his back leg and there was nothing that could really be done to save him due to him already losing the other leg.

RIP Grendel. You were a very good boy. I love you.

Fawk man. I'm sorry. Animals are better than we silly humans ever will be. If I can help at all let me know.

One thing I forgot to mention the other day is that Grendel got to see his girlfriend Nala one last time on Thursday morning. It was sad but nice, she was licking his face like always and they were very happy to see each other.

I'll be looking after her next weekend, which will be a bit weird because Grendel was always with us when she stayed over.

Thanks ian.

It's hard to believe it's been over a week already. Still feels like yesterday.

In November it'll be 2 or 3 years since I put down my German Shepherd. I can't remember if it's 2 or 3, but I know it's been a few already. It definitely doesn't feel like it.

I didn't think it was that long ago. Thought it was last year.

It was about a week and a half after my birthday. Then in late December we got a puppy, to keep my older dog company. He's now a couple years old :oshocked:
