Ok confession - I'm actually more excited about the Royal Rumble this year than I should be even tho I know it'll probably disappoint me, because this is the first time I'll be able to watch it live in years via peacock.

Men's rumble was ok.
Didn't give a fuck about the women's match.
Didn't give a fuck about the Mountain Dew match.
Women's rumble was epic. As I predicted four/five years ago, Rhea is now a main event player. IT factor all over the place.
Title match was alright.
Post-match angle was the most brilliant, beautiful storytelling I've seen from the WWE in almost two decades.

Just watched the men's Rumble. It was pretty good. It lacked star power but it was a solid match.

Roman is wrestling Sami Zayn at the February show and it's a hot angle so they're stuck. Roman and Heyman generally don't work both shows so they can't have simultaneous feuds. I think the plan is to start in March after Sami moves into a feud tagging with Owens against the Usos for Wrestlemania with the rumored angle they win the tag titles and the Usos split.
