I watched AEW's newest PPV when I got home last night. Was too tired to write it up. BUT. Middling PPV until the last three matches. Kris Statlander made her big return and finally took the belt off of Triple JJJ and my face quite literally hurt from smiling so hard. And then the last two matches were just nucking futs. Especially that last one. Just nucking motherfucking futz. Great shit. AEW is on a tear.

I'm a little bummed that Kris apparently isn't doing the alien gimmick anymore, but I can understand why she chose to drop it.

Honestly getting more and more tempted to do a heel turn on AEW and become a WWE fanboy. Not because I don't like AEW's talent and want to watch WWE regularly but because AEW's fanbase are taking toxic behavior to an absurd level. If you don't worship at the altar of CM Punk and think he will singlehandedly make AEW overtake WWE you're a toxic troll. It is worse than it ever was with WCW and ECW back in the 90's by a long shot, worse by far than I've ever seen from the traditional internet wrestling fanbase, and it's starting to leave a nasty taste in my mouth. They are even pushing away new fans, that is how bad it has gotten.

Tony has got to grow a backbone and either rein his champion in or otherwise put him on the cooler until he can grow up because work or shoot he just shit on AEW, NJPW, and the upcoming PPV. That is bad for business and both of them should know better.
