Re: Wrestler Death thread
Tracy Smothers passed away from cancer today.
Loved him. Met him at a show and he was one of the kindest, most humble wrestlers I'd ever met. Watching him cause riots was entertainment personified. Hell of a good worker and teacher too.
RIP.

That really sucks. Everyone liked him but JBL because Tracey challenged him to a fair fight after he sucker punched Blue Meanie. Because he knew Smothers would wreck him worse than Bart Gunn.

Creative genius and the architect of some of my favorite matches of all time as well as a hell of a performer, especially as a babyface. His name'll always be a little tarnished by those scandals tho, and sadly I don't believe he was innocent of any wrongdoing.

RIP Zeus/Tiny
He became a fairly big name in wrestling for someone that had such a short career. He only had 4 or 5 matches.

Re: Wrestler Death thread
He said he never planned on wrestling, Vince just offered him money to work for 3 months so he took it. And I'm sure WCW paid him fairly well to return for the awful triple cage match in 1996.
