Re: The MLW Thread
Surprised WWE didn't pick him up for NXT. You could rework the angle where Brian Sr turned up in ECW, say his Dad has unfinished business in WWE and have him be Loose Cannon 2.0 But maybe they'll sign him down the line. The Loose Cannon is probably one of my favourite gimmicks of all time because Brian Pillman did it so well it even worked some of the boys. When a gimmick is that good it's something promoters could build a promotion around.

He hasn't been wrestling for that long, so a few more years on the indies will do him good.

Yeah, he's in no way ready for NXT now. He hasn't even wrestled a full year yet since he waited until after college. He's 23 so he can do 3 or 4 years elsewhere and still be young when he comes in. And he isn't a good enough promo to pull off the Loose Cannon gimmick yet. Which was one reason he's tagging with Teddy Hart since Teddy is a good talker who was influenced by Brian Sr.

OK cool. I thought Brian Jr was a bit more experienced. Shame Teddy burned his bridges in a lot of places because down the line you could have brought in him, Brian Jr and Daley Jr as the new Hart Foundation. Brian Sr was one of the underrated promo guys too. Most point to Cactus, Dusty, Naitch, Jake et al but he was up there too.

Brian was smart and got a college degree in business first. Also Ravens coach John Harbaugh is his mentor since he was friends with Brian Sr. since they went to college together and said he demanded Brian graduate before risking a wrestling career. Then he started training with Lance Storm last year after graduation.

That's really cool that he's mentoring him. Found this
Totally forgot about this, but John Harbaugh is so awesome to both Brittany and Brian. Whenever the Ravens are in town to play the Bengals he gets them tickets and has dinner with them I believe. John and Pillman played football in college together.

That cat looks like it's seen some things. Some unpleasant things.
