I can't believe there's people out there who don't think Sid was awesome.

Re: The Classic Wrestling Thread
The idea of professional wrestling is that you give your body to someone and they take care of you while telling a compelling story and/or getting the business of the match over. Someone forgot to tell Sid this. My god that lariat.

For someone that thinks rap is crap, Hennig wasn't bad either.

Re: The Classic Wrestling Thread
Been watching a lot of Duggan in the UWF and I'm convinced that if he hadn't been hit with that drug deal with the Iron Sheik, he would have been a main eventer and maybe even World Champion. My god his matches are nuts. He has better brawls with One Man Gang and Kamala than Hogan did and his tuxedo street fight cage match with DiBiase is a legitimate brutal classic.

Rookie Brian Pillman in the main event plus a young Owen Hart only 3 years in the business. His promos sound exactly like Bret, he didn't develop any character yet.

Re: The Classic Wrestling Thread
Recently re-discovered promo package from an August 1973 WWWF MSG show. Vince is 28 and had only been in the business two years.
