Without watching the video, yes the Neo Geo AES was way ahead of its time.

It cost a million fucking dollars in the 90's, only now in 2022 is literally everything else costing a million dollars!

But the Neo Geo MVS was of its time by every single metric, including cost.

The actual system wasn't that expensive in the mid-90s. I could have got one second hand with Nam 1975 for around $350. It was the games that cost a ton.

The NEW DF Retro finally emerges from early access, split into two parts. John Linneman and My Life in Gaming's Coury Carlson join forces to revisit Namco's Klonoa sage across the generations. A brilliant game series finally gets the attention it deserves with the full DF Retro treatment!
