Re: Retro Gaming Thread
Quake II on the original Sony PlayStation 1 is a port that really shouldn't have been possible, yet the team at Hammerhead Studios, skilled with their experience building 3D Worlds on the PlayStation make it possible with a very impressive port that takes full advantage of PS1 hardware. The result? A wonderfully executed game that is arguably the best FPS on the PS1. In today's episode we deep dive as to what make the game so great. Please enjoy.

I've been playing Blue Stinger.
I never liked it back in the day. I rented it within the first few months of getting a Dreamcast and it just didn't click with me and I wrote it off as a poor man's resident evil.
I'm trying the A-Z 0-9 of the DC at the moment even though I've played 80-90% of the games on it like 23-18 years ago, and most games are the same now as they were then and not worth commenting on, but Blue Stinger has something I didn't see before.
It's a fun game with problems, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. So after I tried it for a little bit I find myself coming back to it. It's just a bunch of goofy fun with a somewhat decent game in there.
It's not a funny game, but there sure are a lot of parts where I'm grinning like an idiot at it.
