Nintendo has announced that it plans to release two limited edition New Nintendo 3DS consoles for Black Friday. The regular sized New Nintendo 3DS will retail for just $99 and will come with limited edition faceplates. I'm conflicted about getting this for my son. I was planning on buying him a DS Lite and just dump games on a flash cart, but this is so cheap I'm tempted to pick this up instead. I just don't want to have to buy Pokémon games at full price.

The newer 3DS flashcarts might be worth looking at. I haven't done any research on what works or not, but they might be an option if he isn't going online.

Hmm, I forgot there are some DS flash carts that work on 3DS. I wonder if any of my 3 DS flash carts work in the 3DS.

Depends on where they have it, and if it is time exclusive.

Apparently you can add an extra 30 games to the system.

Very interesting, we knew it was only a matter of time before this happened.

You can remove the original games but only as batch, but you could always re add the ones you want to keep.

It would be pretty cool to add my physical nes collection to my mini.

Interesting. I assume eventually someone will hack it so you can play the entire NES library. Although I'd imagine there's only a small amount of internal memory.

The internal memory only allows another 30 games, 60 is quite a lot though.

Switch Launch titles leaked from GameStop!

No huge Surprises, apart from the Sonic titles and as I thought 3DS third party titles will carry over to switch, Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter in there.

The launch titles in Germany? And what country sells games at 100,77? Why are the menus in English but the "placeholders" in German?

Most companies in Europe adopt English and most Europeans these days are bilingual anyway (they pretty much have to be), so it's not odd to see that.

The 100,77 Euros is probably a placeholder €45.00 is usually the norm.

Yep it is, I assume you can choose 60 and then say a few months or so after playing all those again & again you can switch them for another 60.

This kinda made me lol, Dailymail telling folks how to hack their NES mini

edit: Someone's added more games now (84 games in total): http://uk.businessinsider.com/nes-class ... ked-2017-1

The process violates the warranty
And is also illegal, but we'll run the story anyway. This almost on par with that twat Jim Sterling, who basically advacated for piracy on the basis that he didn't think that any of the games that originally came with the system are worth $2 each.

2 to 8.50ish depending on how you get one.
