Besides First Party, what's good?

I've been using mine to play casual/arcade/puzzle games while watching TV:
  • Celeste
  • Katamari Damacy
  • Golf Story
  • Doom 64
  • Baba is You
There have been some good last-gen ports (Skyrim, Witcher III) but that all depends whether you've played those before. I missed a lot of those the first time around, so I've been buying them on Switch for the portability.

There are lots of indie titles, stuff like Enter the Gungeon, Dead Cells, Bloodstained, and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair are good.

Lots of games have demos available so you can test them out. I think that's a nice feature, especially when there isn't a generous return policy like Steam.

For first-party titles, Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey are great if you've enjoyed those franchises before. Stuff like Mario Tennis, Mario Kart 8, and Splatoon 2 are fine but I'd check out reviews because they each have their own issues.

Did they fix the Switch Bloodstained port? I was a Backer for that game, and every update was Switch owners complaining about all the bugs.

They did. It's supposed to be pretty good now.

Curse Of The Moon is the 8-bit style version that came out a little before Ritual Of The Night.
