What bittorrent client do you use?

Post by Calavera » Wed Oct 06, 2021 4:33 pm

Just curious what bittorrent client everyone using for downloading things like legal Linux distros. :owink:

I'm using Deluge 1.3.15 I'm not sure how long I've been using it, quite awhile. It always works so I've seen no reason to update or switch clients. Before Deluge I used utorrent for many years but was something about it being loaded with malware and a bitcoin miner so that was the end of ever trusting utorrent again.

From what I've seen it looks like Deluge and qBittorrent are the two main ones. I though about giving q a try but then again Deluge is working fine so why bother? :osmile:

So what do you all use?

BiglyBT, which used to be called Vuze/Azureus.

There's a mod for it that allows you to add fake upload data.

Still using qbittorrent.
I used Deluge and its plugins for years. I switched to q last year because Deluge had a bug where RSS torrents wouldn't start sometimes.
