There will be a standalone version of the 2+ as well. It's not as powerful as some of the other new handhelds coming out but I like the screen ratio on this one. All the others coming out are widescreen.

GPD owners now have a choice! GameCube, PS2 and DC represent the line for retro gaming to me. Playing those on a handheld with upscaling feels like a dream.

Although this handheld seems like it is OK it sounds like it might be better to wait and see how some of the other upcoming releases are.

The all-new AYA Neo Pro Is an absolute Powerhouse, And we now finally have a proper RYZEN 7 4800U powered Handheld Gaming PC! In this video we take a look at the retro power version of the AYA neo-pro, With an eight-core 16 thread CPU back by 16 GB of LPDDR4X Ram this Handheld is Beast and can even handle Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite, And when it comes to ruining emulators on the AYA Neo pro it will do PSP, WiiU, GameCube, PS2 and Even PS3 using RPCS3! Can it compete with the upcoming Steam Deck? We just have to wait for Valve to release to find out!

I built that mini itx machine back in 2019 with a Ryzen 2200G, it's crazy that two years later and we've got a slightly more powerful handheld version. $1300+ USD is a bit eye-watering for that luxury, but the available library is crazy for something like this.
