Re: Forza Thread
oh god..
Why are they doing this shitty DLC that shows up in normal forza games?? Hot wheels pisses me off in horizon 3..
why not just make a 'Forza Hotwheels+Lego+Tamiya+Tonka+Matchbox+Fast&furious' game and get it over with so I don't have to see shitty DLC I don't give an ass about in my game with a non removable icon!
E3 2020: Forza Hotwheels+Lego+Tamiya+Tonka+Matchbox+Fast&furious announced..

So, Battle Royale without the battle?
So... Like a race?
Sounds good!

Re: Forza Thread
I haven't really played a Forza game since the original on Xbox. I've been playing Forza Horizon 4 lately and it is pretty good. I like the fact that you can race with any car and it adjusts the opponents to have a car of similar specs. Most racing games I've played they will have a ton of cars but the large majority of them are useless. Now I can actually use the Buick GNX or 57 Chevy, or even a Reliant Robin instead of having to use a Nissan Skyline the entire game. This feature has probably been around for awhile but I've been out of the racing game loop for awhile. Gran Turismo 3 was the last one I really played.

Love it! Ok so maybe I never use the Robin but I do use the Peel Trident quite a bit. It is great for racking up skill points and it is pretty mean at the drag strip!

Just put the training wheels on the reliants and good times are had by all.
I still prefer horizon 3 over 4, just hard to get over the horrible Aussie accent of the announcers.

Re: Forza Thread
I really enjoy 4 so I figured I'd go ahead and install 3 and check it out. My PC isn't exactly brand new, most of the components are from around 2012 so about 8 years old. i5-3570k CPU, R9 290X 4GB GPU and 16GB DDR3. With Forza Horizon 4 I can run it on high at a steady 60FPS no problem, if I go to ultra it dips down in the high 50s every once in awhile so I just leave it on high since I can't really tell a difference between high and ultra anyways. FH3 is a totally different story. Whether it is on high, medium or low it will randomly dip down into the 40s for no apparent reason. It seems FH3 is a very poorly optimized game.

Re: Forza Thread
As expected, the brief shots showing the racing looks amazing. Now hopefully they can fix the bullshit from Forza 7. You can't have a private race with friends + bots.

Don't know if that's the type of thing they will fix, but we'll see.

Fairly certain Horizon fills in the gaps with AI, like all the previous Forza games did.Dr. Zoidberg wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 1:14 pm Don't know if that's the type of thing they will fix, but we'll see.

Re: Forza Thread
How many people have Forza Horizon 4 on PC? For those that have it do you experience many crashes? For me sometimes it crashes on startup. I've had to reload it 3-4 times in a row before it loaded correctly before. That isn't too common but it is fairly common to crash on the garage/paint areas. Usually when painting a car. Most commonly after I paint a car and select to save it to the car it will come up with the save screen and then crash. Not every single time but fairly often. It seems to crash less on my new PC then it did on my previous one but it still happens. Does anybody here have this problem?
