Re: General Gaming Thread
Riders Republic looks really fun, but I’m totally put off from that pretentious trailer. Plus it’s made by the developer of Steep, which was a bug-ridden mess when I played it a full year after launch. It’s a shame because it really does look fun, but I simply can’t trust it not to be annoying and broken.
As for Avatar, they are spending way too much money on a game that I fear doesn’t really have a market. Show of hands, how many are actually excited for an Avatar game?

I like the look of Rider's Republic, it should be good.
I'm not even excited about the Avatar movies. From what you see in the trailer, the game could be OK, if it's an Ubi knockoff of Horizon Zero Dawn.

I have to play it, just to play as him. It should be a good game, it's got decent developers working on it. The Melee community is going a little ape over this, and wanting to play as Nigel Thornberry

I never played the original Axiom Verge, but now I suddenly want to. I could have sworn I had it for free somewhere, but I can’t remember what platform it would have been on. I wonder if I should just skip it and start the second one.

Re: General Gaming Thread
I think it'd be fine to play 2 before 1.
I'm about 3-5 hours in, but I've only seen one obscure overt reference to the first game and its main character. Both games feature a lot of mystery, so the second game might spoil some of the background story of the first.

I was going to buy the second game on PC, but realized that I hadn't had Epic Game Store installed for about a year. Found lots of free games saved over there

I've got so many freebies on Epic (close to 200 games) but have never bought anything on there.
