People also forget the finger poke of doom/nWo reunion did spike their ratings for 2 weeks. I hated it because it made the belt look worthless if Nash just wanted to hand it over because Hogan paid him to be the nWo enforcer (shouldn't the world champion be making a lot of money in kayfabeland?) But the issue was they had no follow up for an angle people were initially intrigued by.
The shit Russo did was unexplainable. So was his decision to wear a sleeveless shirt when he had no muscles and he's walking around with guys like Scott Steiner and Buff.
