The talk in local media is WaPo is having their legal team go over it with a fine tooth comb because it's really bad. As in don't expect Snyder around in September bad.

Also apparently IRL Lex Luthor Jeff Bezos wants the team, speaking of WaPo.

YUCK. Might as well rename the team the Washington Fire HD 10 Tablets.

The Washington Piss Bottles in tribute to the warehouse employees.

Also a reminder Vince McMahon almost bought the Redskins at the time and even he runs a more respectable organization. And he has an accused rapist currently in a top spot on the FOX show.

So not as salacious as expected, but maybe as (if not more) gross as we all assumed? I wanted stories about Jay Gruden and his side chicks, dammit!

Honestly, I hope they can scrub out all these gross old dudes, get the name changed, and we can see some Ron Riveria/Dwanye Haskins magic. NFC East is my second-favorite division (mostly for laughs), but the stuff outlined in the WaPo article is just sad.

I think the Gruden stuff was why WaPo had the big gun lawyers on the story. The executives harassing women story was cut and dried because two of the people in question quit before the story came out. It is harder to prove Gruden benched Kapri Bibbs for being Eskimo Brothers. The team can just claim he was late to practice, got into an altercation with another player, stayed out too late on a Saturday, or any other reason players are benched. So that's something Gruden, or even Bibbs, could sue for and probably win because it's an unprovable claim.

The biggest conspiracy theory is the NFL came swooping in with their own high-priced attorney to excise any on-field issues from the story.

100% guaranteed the NFL got involved.

Antonio Brown came out of his 4 day retirement. Shocking.

:olol: I'm still hoping he'll show up on some middling team roster.

Probably the best decision. It buys them time to decide on a new name, plus the merch they make now will be relevant no matter what name they choose.
