Forget the voice clips, look at that triple jump! What a different game it would be if you could float after a triple jump like that.

Sweet :) Now if we could get the source for Mario 64 DS to fix those busted controls!

OMFG, that would be the best thing ever. Every once in a while I’ll go back and try that game again only to stop 10 minutes later once I remember how bad the controls are.

It does look great. I've been playing it on my laptop, which isn't 4k but it still looks good.

That's confirmation for me that I don't need to buy that :(

The All-Stars Collection is getting good reviews due to the games being great but most of them also mention how basic the whole thing is and how little effort Nintendo seems to have put into it.

No widescreen for 64 or Sunshine sucks.

Even if they had just added widescreen, I would've probably bought it.

3D All-Stars is an okay deal for the uninitiated who don't care about upscaling and such, but it shouldn't be seen as anything more than a petty cash grab from Nintendo. The limited release and $60 price tag sucks for younger folks who never played these games, and it's perfect fonder for the mouth-breathing scalpers who will lord these over those unfortunate souls who catch FOMO next year.

This is one of the worst cash grabs for Nintendo I think I’ve ever seen. They basically released their Virtual Console versions of these games for twice the VC price. They could have provided the smallest of upgrades that could have made the bundle worth the price. But instead they do no work, charge a premium price, and let nostalgia make fools of their fans.

Maybe if 3D All-Stars was some sort of collectable release to celebrate N64/GC/Wii games coming to NSO, it wouldn't feel like such a slap in the face
