I read one Facebook comment that alluded that Trump was just trolling everyone by sharing that Babylon Bee story. That's some next level mental gymnastics there.

I hope that the BB offices got a case of champagne today, because that has to be the height of their art: Having the current U.S. President share your satire unwittingly as real news.

We as artists, however, have a unique opportunity to portray and ridicule the absurd to prevent it from becoming reality.
