Uhhhhh, the level is still scrolling! :olol: pretty awesome hack there, we'll just have to wait for 16k displays to see it properly.

Could have sworn it was March 2001 when it got discontinued.
I guess it must have been I only found out in March.

Either way. 20 years of No Dreamcast is very sad.

For some reason, I always thought it happened later like in June or July. Probably the same boat too, only found out about it later :olol: We didn't have instant news access back then.

Sega Master System game in 2021! Voyage - A Sorceress' Vacation

you can get the game free here for all your emulation fun, wonder if anyones ever hit the torrent button on it rather than just downloading normally? it'd be an odd choice for getting a MS game

Just got an email that Limited Run Games is going to release a small number of Astro City Mini systems tomorrow that have been updated with the US versions of games (or menu translations of games that didn’t come to the US). Also will have a few accessories like a mini pedestal and stool, and an official controller. I think I might try to get one, as I see this being a very rare item a few years from now.

That's great news! :osmile: I'd really recommend getting the pedestal addon kit, I was on the fence when I imported it but I'm really glad I bought it. I really regret not getting any controllers, so hopefully I can get one or two tomorrow.

The Astro City Mini is an odd beast, because there are few controllers that will work with it. There's been little progress on any software hacks, so hopefully a fresh batch delivered to the U.S. will spark up some updates.

Well I got one controller, but they went really fast. I had two in my cart and was working through GPay when everything went crazy and I was kicked back to the homepage. I refreshed again and the website let me buy one controller. Edit: I bought a second one off of Amazon.co.jp, looks like there are JP models of the systems still in stock: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B08CDYVRZW

I didn’t even try for the Style Kit. I just wanted the system. I was about to order a controller, but I think I’ll just use the 6-button Genesis controller I already have.
