Lets make pretend like it is 1982

Post by Calavera »

Around 20 years ago a 2.4MB hard drive cost about $6,000.

Nowadays you a 19MB hard drive can be had for around $5,500!

Almost 8 times the space for $500 less!

It is amazing that hard drives can hold so much data can be held on a hard disk I can't see a reason for a home computer user to ever need one. It would be pretty amazing to be able to fit 26 720kb onto a single hard disk but not really practical for a home user.

You could fit over 100 1982 games on that drive. Maybe over 200.

I was four. Loved Star Wars and He-Man and had just started watching the WWF and Mid-Atlantic with my grandfather a few months ago. I was cute.
