I don't think it's him, but whoever it was was pretty on point.

I think Andrews got off lightly if that's all they said and did.
Surprised he hasn't been hanged, drawn and quartered speaking in public when he turned the whole state into prisoners for nearly 2 years.

I suppose his security force is a lot better than it used to be though. All those police harrassing old ladies at supermarkets still need jobs I suppose.

Daniel Putin (aka Vladimir Andrews) has much to answer for, not that he will, but it’s a close call whether I prefer him of Guy Smiley.

Victorian election day on Saturday.
I can't predict who'll win at all.

Labour wants to spend 857 quadrillion dollars on improving all the stuff they'll then legally stop everyone from actually fucking using, and the liberals will penny pinch and sell every asset the state possesses for a pittance and let us become a barren, desolate shell but let people free to look at the tumbleweeds in the dustbowl any time they want...

It's too close to call.

Unfortunately it’ll likely be a politician.

Yep. I was right. It’s a politician who won. Looks like another four years of unfinished jobs, unfulfilled promises, unsatisfactory conduct, not to mention the questions that won’t be given a straight answer, the lies, the dodgy deals and the dead beats in the House of Representatives.

Hopefully she does a good job, but eh.

Andrews was doing an ok job untill the whole turning us all into fucking prisoners thing.

What a way to wipe your legacy and all your prior achievements. I sincerely hope when he's in a retirement home the state is locked down and he's forced to die alone with no help. If there is any justice that's what will happen.

So the referendum is coming up.
I think the no vote is gonna win... But not for the right reasons.

Remember the last time labour tried to do something good and then the liberals fucked over the whole nation?

It was called the NBN and the liberals set us back at least 20 possibly up to over 100 years. But the NBN would have actually achieved something for all the money spent on it.

Now labour are trying to get segregation put into the constitution.

But the segregation they want to add doesn't APPEAR to actually do anything. Can the liberals shut this down too? I think they just might.

Could the liberals actually make a useful contribution to the country with their tight ass penny pinching, screw everyone over to save money ideals?

I agree with the apology (Which we did), and a treaty, (which we haven't done) and stopping tourists from trashing Ayers Rock (which we did) but this voice referendum is a stupid idea that won't help a single person who needs it.

The problem is, this voice referendum is creating a devide that simply doesn't need to exist, and both sides are just as batshit as each other.

I'm going to resort to the usual tactic of seeing how much someone will pay me to vote how they want, and if no one is paying, simply put an unfilled bit of paper in the ballot box... like all but 3 times since 2008.

Putting segregation into a constitution is potentially the most dangerous, hateful and stupid thing I've ever seen in my entire life. But it won't affect me in the slightest, so meh.

The latest polls are indicating that the No vote is going to win by a lot.

Aboriginals are mentioned in the constitution multiple times already, BTW. The Voice is just a committee that will offer advice on Indigenous issues which the government would need to listen to, but they don't have to implement the advice. It's not segregation.

Also Dutton has said if he becomes PM he's going to do another Voice referendum, but do it the way he wants to do it.

Directly from the AEC:
The voice is a proposed law to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

and as defined by any place with a definition:
Segregation: separation of groups of people with differing characteristics.

So, yes, it is.
They are literally by definition putting segregation into law via the constitution.

Or should I say, they WANT to.
Hence the referendum.

They didn't even need to have a referendum, they could have got it passed through parliament without one. They could get it passed even after the No vote wins, but Albo has said the won't do that.
